The Big Brother 27 house was buzzing after the Power of Veto results, but the most revealing moment of the weekend came during a heated late-night conversation between Morgan and Vinny. The exchange highlighted just how fractured alliances have become and how one veto decision could unravel weeks of trust.
Vinny Feels Cornered
Vinny opened up to Morgan about his fears of losing allies no matter what move he makes. With Lauren pushing hard against the idea of being a replacement nominee, Vinny admitted he feels trapped:
“No matter what I do, I lose allies. My game is f***ed. Unless the veto isn’t used—but that’s not in your best interest.”
He revealed that Lauren broke down in tears, telling him that if he nominated her—even if she stayed—it would permanently fracture their relationship. To Vinny, this felt like a no-win scenario: either anger Lauren, or anger Morgan.

Morgan Pushes Back
Morgan countered that Lauren’s reaction was emotional and short-sighted. She insisted that Lauren would not actually cut ties if she survived the block, and that her threat was more bluff than reality:
“If she’s gonna sit there and tell you, ‘If you do this, we won’t be allies,’ that’s a threat. I’d rather call her bluff on it than send her home.”
Morgan also reminded Vinny that their combined comp wins (his five HOHs, her three Vetoes) made them the strongest duo in the house—and that keeping momentum mattered more than protecting Lauren’s spotless record.
Trust Issues and Fractured Votes
Vinny worried that if Lauren did go up, the votes could flip against her. He said he didn’t trust Kelley and feared Ashley could side against him as well.
“If Lauren goes home on my HOH, my game is over. My game is in extreme jeopardy based on this decision.”
Morgan tried to reassure him, insisting Ashley would never flip and that Lauren’s real fear was simply losing her perfect no-nomination streak.
A Reluctant Deal
In the end, Vinny relented—telling Morgan he would go through with nominating Lauren if she used the Veto on Ava:
“Use the veto and I’ll put up Lauren. I’ll deal with the repercussions, my decision, and hope I survive four more evictions.”
He even softened, asking Morgan for a hug after the tense back-and-forth, admitting he didn’t want to stay in disagreement with her.
Cracks in the Duo?
Despite their agreement, the conversation exposed growing cracks between the two. Morgan admitted she would consider voting Keanu out, while Vinny confessed he felt “dead inside” from the stress of the decision. Their exchange ended with Morgan holding Vinny’s hand, then letting go.
The fallout from this talk could define the week. If Vinny follows through and renoms Lauren, it will mark the first real test of loyalty between his closest allies—and could set the stage for one of the most dramatic votes of the season.
