The BB Time Capsule twist is officially in full swing, and fans now know every prize and punishment that could shake up Big Brother 28 over the coming weeks.
Introduced earlier this season, the BB Time Capsule gives one fan-voted houseguest each week the chance to compete in a throwback challenge inspired by past Big Brother seasons. Depending on the outcome, they walk away with either a powerful game advantage or a memorable punishment.
The twist will run for six weeks, meaning there are still four more opportunities for houseguests to earn a prize—or suffer the consequences.
Rick Devens Claims the First Major Power
This week, America voted Rick Devens to compete in the Time Capsule challenge, and he made the most of the opportunity.
Devens successfully completed the challenge and won the Diamond Power of Veto, one of the most powerful advantages ever introduced in Big Brother. The power remains valid for the next six weeks and allows him to override the Head of Household’s replacement nominee during a veto ceremony, choosing the replacement himself.
Meanwhile, Week 2 saw Angela Murray receive the first punishment of the twist when she was forced to wear the Hard-Boiled Detective costume after losing her challenge.
