The end of Big Brother 28 is getting closer, and the race for the $750,000 grand prize is entering its final stretch. After starting the season with 16 houseguests, only seven players remain in the game, while Angela Murray has joined the jury following her Week 9 eviction.
With the finale now less than a month away, CBS has revealed the remaining schedule, including a massive two-hour double eviction that will dramatically shrink the cast before the final week.
When Is the Big Brother 28 Finale?
The 90-minute Big Brother 28 finale will air Thursday, October 1, at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
The finale will reveal the winner of Season 28, along with America’s Favorite Houseguest. By the time the finale begins, only a handful of players will remain fighting for the biggest prize of the season.
Week 10 Brings a Huge Double Eviction
The next major milestone comes Thursday, September 17, when Big Brother 28 airs a two-hour live double eviction episode.

The night will begin with the first live eviction based on the Week 10 HOH’s nominations. Immediately afterward, the remaining houseguests will compete for a new HOH. That winner will quickly nominate two players, followed by a Power of Veto competition and another eviction vote.
Everything will happen during the same two-hour episode.
The double eviction will reduce the cast from seven players to five, while the jury will grow to four members.

CBS has also adjusted several episode times as the season approaches its finale, partly because of NFL coverage.
- Sunday, September 13: 8:30 p.m. ET
- Wednesday, September 16: 8 p.m. ET — 2-hour episode
- Thursday, September 17: 8 p.m. ET — 2-hour live double eviction
- Wednesday, September 23: 10 p.m. ET — 1-hour episode
- Sunday, September 27: 9:30 p.m. ET
- Wednesday, September 30: No episode
- Thursday, October 1: 8 p.m. ET — 90-minute Season 28 finale

Big Brother 28 continues to air on CBS, with episodes also streaming live on Paramount+. Subscribers can also stream episodes on Paramount+ the following day.
With the double eviction approaching and only seven houseguests remaining, the game is about to move at a much faster pace. Two players will leave in one night, leaving just five competitors with a shot at reaching the finale.
