Ashley shared her thoughts after footage resurfaced showing Taylor involved in a violent altercation with her on-and-off partner, Dakota Mortensen. The incident sparked backlash and ultimately caused the network to cancel the season before it could air.
Reacting to the situation, Ashley said she felt especially bad for the male contestants. Many of them had invested time, emotions, and personal sacrifices into the experience, only for it to end abruptly without the opportunity viewers typically see on the show. She suggested the situation was unfair to them, considering they entered the process with genuine intentions.
Imagine leaving your job as one of these men on the bachelorette and your season doesn’t even get aired. You don’t get any followers, can’t launch a career or nothing 😭

Ashley also made it clear that her opinion of Taylor changed after seeing the video, describing the footage as disturbing. Despite that, her main concern remained with the contestants, who she believes were left disappointed after committing to the journey.
The situation has drawn wider reactions, as reports indicate the contestants themselves felt shocked and let down by the controversy, even though many had initially viewed Taylor as sincere during filming.
