Big Brother 28 Kamu’s Week 3 plan is officially complete.
After days of plotting, public confrontations, and one of the messiest house meetings we’ve seen this season, the Power of Veto Ceremony delivered exactly what Head of Household Kamu wanted: Jason is officially on the nomination block.
But while the backdoor itself was expected, everything surrounding it has made this one of the most volatile weeks of Big Brother 28.
Lyric Saves Herself
There was never much doubt about what Lyric would do after winning the Power of Veto.
Although Jason reportedly floated the idea of her leaving nominations unchanged to throw Kamu’s plans into chaos, it was always a long shot. Saving yourself is simply the right move in almost every Big Brother season.
At Monday’s ceremony, Lyric removed herself from the block, forcing Kamu to reveal his true target.
Jason took the final nomination chair exactly as everyone expected.

Kamu Didn’t Just Backdoor Jason—He Tried To Break Him First
The Veto Ceremony was simply the final chapter of a campaign that really exploded during Sunday’s infamous tea party.
What started as a light-hearted gathering quickly turned into one of the season’s biggest confrontations when Kamu publicly accused Jason of playing both sides of the house. Rather than quietly executing his backdoor plan, Kamu chose to expose Jason’s conversations in front of nearly everyone, hoping to isolate him socially before nominations became official.
Instead, the confrontation appears to have produced mixed results.
Jason defended himself confidently, challenging several of Kamu’s claims while refusing to simply accept the accusations. Many live feed viewers felt Kamu looked more emotional than strategic, with some believing the public call-out actually strengthened Jason’s position rather than weakening it.

From a strategic standpoint, Kamu already had everything he needed. He won Head of Household. Lyric was expected to save herself. Jason couldn’t play in the Veto. The numbers largely favoured the majority alliance. Instead of quietly letting the plan unfold, Kamu turned the week into a personal showdown.
That decision has sparked heavy debate among fans, with many arguing the confrontation was unnecessary and risked exposing cracks within his own alliance. Others believe it transformed Jason into an underdog that viewers—and perhaps even some houseguests—could rally behind.
Jason Still Has A Chance
Despite landing on the block, Jason’s game is far from over. His biggest obstacle now isn’t the nomination—it’s the Block Buster competition. If Jason wins, Kamu’s carefully constructed backdoor collapses instantly.
If Mallory wins, Jason could be left relying entirely on the house vote. If LaLa shocks everyone with a victory, the entire week could flip on its head. The irony is that after all the planning, speeches, and drama, Kamu’s success may ultimately come down to one competition lasting only a few minutes.
Week 3 Is Far From Over
The nominations are finally locked in, but the tension inside the house is only getting worse.
Jason now enters eviction week as the clear target, yet the events leading to his nomination may have changed the dynamics of the house more than Kamu intended. Public confrontations often leave lasting scars in Big Brother, and this week’s tea party ambush could end up having consequences well beyond Thursday’s eviction.
Whether Kamu just made the move that secures his game—or the move that paints the biggest target on his own back—will become clear once the Block Buster is played.
