Week 2 is officially underway in Big Brother 28, and a new Head of Household has taken control of the game following the season’s first eviction.
With Dee Valladares’ HOH reign coming to an end, she was ineligible to compete, leaving the remaining 15 Houseguests battling for one of the most important victories of the week. After surviving eviction by winning the BB Blockbuster competition, Yash Patel hoped to keep his momentum going with another competition win, but the rest of the house had plans of their own.

The Head of Household competition is over, and Rick Devens has emerged victorious.
The win gives Devens the power to shape the second week of the game by deciding which Houseguests will face the nomination block. With alliances continuing to take shape and several players looking to strengthen their positions, his decisions could have a major impact on the direction of the season.

Attention now turns to Friday’s nomination ceremony, where Devens will reveal his first nominees as HOH. The action won’t slow down after that, as the Power of Veto competition is scheduled for Saturday, giving one nominee a chance to save themselves from eviction.
Fans also have another twist to look forward to, with the BB Time Capsule expected to make its debut on Friday. While details remain under wraps, the twist is expected to arrive before nominations and could introduce an unexpected wrinkle into Week 2.
