The first Power of Veto Ceremony of Big Brother 28 is officially complete, and the Week 1 nomination picture is now locked in.
After winning the season’s first Head of Household competition, Dee initially nominated Mallory, Taylor, and Yash, placing one houseguest from each team on the chopping block. However, Saturday’s Power of Veto competition gave Mallory the opportunity to save herself after she claimed the coveted Veto.
As expected, Mallory used the Power of Veto during Monday’s ceremony to remove herself from the block, forcing Dee to name a replacement nominee.
Week 1 Veto Ceremony Results
- Mallory used the Power of Veto on herself.
- Dee nominated Ashley as the replacement nominee.
- The final nominees are Ashley, Taylor, and Yash.
The replacement nomination didn’t come as much of a surprise. Many houseguests had anticipated that Ashley would be Dee’s choice if the Veto was used, and Ashley herself appeared to expect the move.
Who Is the Main Target?
Although Ashley is now on the block, early conversations inside the house suggest she may not be Dee’s primary target. Instead, Yash currently appears to be in the most danger of becoming the first houseguest evicted from Big Brother 28.
That said, the game is far from over. The upcoming Block Buster competition could dramatically shift the week’s outcome. If Yash manages to save himself, the vote could become much more unpredictable, with Ashley and Taylor potentially battling for survival.
As every Big Brother fan knows, alliances and strategies can change in an instant, so the target could easily shift before eviction night. For now, however, Ashley, Taylor, and Yash remain the three nominees heading into the remainder of Week 1.
