Big Brother 28 Spoilers: What to Expect From the First Veto Meeting of the Season

The first Power of Veto Meeting of Big Brother 28 is set to take place today, and live feed spoilers have already revealed what fans can expect once the ceremony begins.

Week 1 Head of Household Dee Valladares entered the week with the power after defeating fellow crossover players Rick Devens and Angela Murray in the opening HOH competition. Meanwhile, Jason Du Poy, Chuk Anyanwu, and Rome Seymour earned safety by winning the season’s opening challenges.

Dee initially nominated Mallory Aurichio, Taylor Brown, and Yash Patel for eviction, making it clear that Mallory was her primary target. However, the game took a turn during Saturday’s Power of Veto competition when Mallory secured the win, guaranteeing her safety for the week.

With Mallory expected to remove herself from the nomination block at today’s Veto Meeting, Dee will be forced to name a replacement nominee. According to conversations on the live feeds, Ashley Trail appears to be Dee’s preferred replacement, which would leave Taylor Brown, Yash Patel, and Ashley Trail facing eviction heading into the remainder of Week 1.

Although Ashley is currently the expected replacement nominee, there has been plenty of last-minute campaigning inside the house. Rome Seymour has reportedly been pushing for Haley Thogmartin to be nominated instead, but Dee has shown little interest in changing her plans. As always in Big Brother, strategies can shift quickly, but Ashley remains the most likely choice unless something dramatic happens before the ceremony.

The Veto Meeting has also intensified tensions between Dee and Mallory. Despite winning the Power of Veto, Mallory remains frustrated that Dee nominated her in the first place, creating an early rivalry that could have lasting consequences once the first week is over.

Once the Veto Meeting concludes, the final nominees will have one last opportunity to avoid eviction. On eviction night, Taylor, Yash, and the replacement nominee will compete in the BB Blockbuster competition, where one player will earn safety while the remaining two face the house vote.

With alliances still taking shape and emotions already running high, today’s Veto Meeting could have a major impact on the direction of the game as Big Brother 28 continues its unpredictable opening week.
