Big Brother 25 episode 30 recap: Was Cirie or Cameron evicted on October 12? [UPDATING LIVE]

Tonight the Jury doors are opening for “Big Brother” season 25 as another Houseguest is set to be voted out just four weeks ahead of finale night. Six votes are set to decide who leaves next: Survivor legend Cirie Fields or Big Brother dominator Cameron Hardin.

Bowie Jane sent Felicia Cannon and Cirie Fields to the Block at the start of Week 10 and after initially fending off attempts to redirect her HOH the Australian DJ/lawyer was overruled and soon her new allies set the course for a Backdoor plan. Tonight we’ll see if the House will stick together or flip again as they love to do. “But First,” we still need to see the rest of the Veto play out as part of Thursday’s episode. So let’s go!

9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 29th episode, nominees Cirie and Felicia played their hearts out in the epic Zingbot/OTEV Veto competition. Unfortunately, both exited the comp early, unaware that the only player wanting either of them to go home was Bowie. Jag prevailed to win the Power of Veto and plans to pull someone off the block (most likely Felicia). With the Veto ceremony yet to air, Bowie has Jag pressuring her to backdoor Cameron while Cameron pressures her to backdoor Cory. Which direction will she go? Let’s find out!

9:06 p.m. — After Julie welcomes us to the live eviction episode we rewind to see how things played out earlier this week. As the Veto meeting nears, Cameron begins to realize the Fugitives may have started running without him. He drops his pitch for Jag and Matt to backdoor Cory. Instead he says they should keep the noms the same so Cameron and Blue can go after Cory and America next week. It’s a solid pitch, but Jag and Matt just aren’t taking the bait.

9:10 p.m. — It’s time for the Veto meeting and Jag decides to use the POV on Felicia. She’s thrilled. Since Jag has vetoed one of Bowie’s nominations for eviction, she must name a replacement. She throws Cameron up on the block. That means either Cameron or Cirie will be heading out the door tonight. Jag feels this was a well-executed plan. Cameron says Bowie has shown her true character, to which she replies, “I’m proud of it actually.” Meanwhile, Felicia is feeling stress free and can’t wait to evict Cameron.

9:15 p.m. — Cirie is sitting comfortable on the block. A few weeks ago she would have been a sitting duck, but at this point she has appeared to fade into the background of this game. Cameron continues to campaign, pitching to Blue that she has to drop Matt and Jag. He calls Blue a “sinking ship” and says Jag and Matt have no loyalty to her. Even though Cameron’s right, Blue thinks he’s an idiot and doesn’t believe a word of it. Next, Cam takes his shot at Cory by telling him Matt and Jag are going to run this game to the end. Cory doesn’t trust Matt and Jag unconditionally, but he definitely trusts them more than Cameron. He calls flipping the vote to evict Cirie would be a “big TV move” but not a path forward. Cameron says he’ll probably see Cory, America and Blue in the jury house soon, which may be true.

9:20 p.m. — Matt is beginning to get frustrated with all the whispering in the house. He’s deaf and can’t understand a thing. He can read lips well when he’s one-on-one with someone, but that’s rare in the BB House. His anger turns to sadness as he breaks down while speaking with Jag. Matt says it’s been hard because nobody in his real life whispers around him and they would consider it disrespectful. The game has taken a toll on him. Later he confides in Felicia how hard this game has been. She tells him he’s broken down a lot of doors and everyone should be proud of him.

9:25 p.m. — Cameron almost met Kevin Costner in his dream last night, so that’s fun news. Since his game is over, Cameron’s next goal is to meet the movie star. Cory doesn’t even know who Kevin Costner is. Felicia jokes in the Diary Room, “Kevin, if you wanna make a ‘Bodyguard 2,’ holler at your girl!” Later Cory and Jag meet up to discuss who needs to go home next week. They both agree the answer is Blue — at least to each other’s faces. Blue hasn’t done anything this whole game so I’m not sure why everyone would want her gone. As Cory talks to Jag, he starts to realize how beneficial it is for Jag and Matt to keep Blue in the game to do their dirty work. Ding ding!

9:30 p.m. — As Cory and America face off with Matt and Jag, Cirie seems to be getting more popular than ever. She gets some advice from Cameron, who is happy to help her set up the downfall of Matt and Jag. He tells her the only reason he didn’t backdoor Cory last week was because Jag begged him not to. Cameron is completely correct when he says Matt and Jag are using everyone to take each other out while they sail to the final. Unlike everyone else, Cirie takes Cameron seriously and says he makes sense. She quickly heads over to Blue and tells her they need to listen to Cameron. Matt and Jag are riding together to the end. Cirie tells Blue she can’t play personally. Blue admits that when Cirie says this to her, it definitely hits differently than when Cameron did. Nobody’s taking any shots at Matt or Jag! Later, Jag and Matt meet with Cirie. They would like a final five to include the Minutemen, Bowie, Cirie and Felicia. Blue isn’t even in their final five! This is hilarious. Cirie nods, agrees and thinks, “No reason for me not to play along.” I still don’t understand why they want Blue gone so badly. What has she done?

9:35 p.m. — Next Cirie is in the hammock with Cory. She finds out Cory and America want to go after Jag and Matt sooner than later. She even agrees to go along with them. Cirie is thrilled to see this civil war break out while she sits in the middle and sails to the end like she always does.

9:45 p.m. — It’s time for the live vote and eviction. Prior to the vote Cirie and Cameron give short speeches. Cirie gives shout outs to her family and thanks her fellow houseguests for an extraordinary 72 days. Cameron tells his daughter he loves her and hopes he inspires her to chase her dreams. Then he tells his roommates that he will be loyal to everyone, won’t vote to evict anyone and will throw all the competitions. Last he simply says, “Cory,” which gets a laugh from everyone. Next, everyone heads to the voting booth and unanimously votes to evict Cameron by a vote of 6-0. Julie reveals the vote and Cameron leaves like a gentleman.

9:55 p.m. — Cameron gave a particularly boring interview to Julie, simply blaming everything that went wrong on himself. Sure, that might be the polite thing to do, but I wanted him to talk some trash, dammit! Oh well, he happily heads off to the jury house after jokingly asking Julie when she is going to tell him he’s back in the game.

10:00 p.m. — BB Comic-Week is about to be unleashed into the “Big Brother” house. On Sunday there will be a superpower in play that shields the identity of the Head of Household. That should be fun! Teasing, “Sounds like something may have crashed landed in the HOH Room,” all the houseguests run upstairs as the credits start to roll.
