We’ve made it somehow. Wednesday was the last full day in the “Big Brother 25″ house. It was the 99th day, but it featured a first: Bowie Jane campaigning.
Yup, the same person who was miffed by Cory campaigning finally did so herself. To be fair, she was never on the block, so she never had to campaign, but maybe don’t complain about other people campaigning to stay in the game so they can win $750,000. Bowie told Matt she didn’t want to campaign against Jag, so her whole pitch was that she’ll get zero votes (probably true). The real issue here is that neither of them even attempted to lay the groundwork for a final two the past few weeks and Matt probably knows he can beat her and Jag.
Bowie started her Jag pitch with a little guilt trip, telling him she trusted him to take her to final two. She said he shouldn’t feel guilty about cutting Matt at final three like he did at final four because Matt could win Part 3 and hasn’t gone out on any limbs for Jag, so Jag doesn’t owe him anything. She stressed that Matt would beat both of them, no juror would vote for her and she’d be content with second place… says the person who’s repeatedly stated she’s happy with third place. Jag did his usual equivocating and changed the subject to playing solitaire. He and Matt later compared notes and recommitted to taking each other. And then in an attempt to block Bowie from pitching to him again in their bedroom, Jag organized a slumber party in Matt’s room for the three of them. If there’s one thing Jag is going to do, it’s avoid confrontation.
So that’s that. Either Jag or Matt will win Part 3 and will take each other unless something drastic changes during the day before night’s season finale. One thing that hasn’t happened this week is final speech prep by any of them, so those ought to be a doozy.
