Big Brother 28 may be over, but fans are still watching Drew Campbell and Melody Morris closely after a post-finale photo sparked new dating speculation.
Throughout the season, Drew and Melody developed one of the most talked-about connections in the house. They were close allies, regularly flirted, cuddled and shared several moments that made viewers wonder whether their friendship could eventually become something more. Fans even gave the pair their own nickname: “Melodrew.”
Now, just days after the October 1 finale, fans think they may have spotted the first sign that the flirtmance is continuing outside the Big Brother house.
Melody’s Beach Photo Gets Fans Talking
On October 4, Melody posted a beach selfie to her Instagram Story. At first glance, it looked like a normal post-show update.

But fans quickly noticed something in the reflection of her sunglasses: Drew appeared to be right there with her.
The detail immediately caught the attention of Big Brother viewers, especially because reports say Melody was wearing the same sunglasses she had left with Drew following her eviction. Some fans began calling the post a possible “soft launch” of their relationship.
Other post-show photos have also shown Drew and Melody spending time around former houseguests, so the two are clearly staying in each other’s lives after the season.
Drew Is Leaving the Door Open
Drew has not confirmed that he and Melody are dating, but his post-finale comments certainly haven’t shut down the possibility.
When asked about their connection, Drew described Melody as “super funny” and “obviously pretty,” while acknowledging that their relationship inside the house included plenty of arguments and emotional moments.
As for what happens now, Drew said he does not know what the future holds for either of them and pointed out that they do not live near each other.
His conclusion?
“Only time will tell.”
That is hardly a relationship announcement, but it also leaves plenty of room for something to develop.
Melody Has Feelings for Drew Too
Melody has been similarly cautious when discussing Drew.
After her eviction, she admitted that she had “love in my heart for Drew” and said she wanted to continue talking to him outside the house. At the time, however, she framed their future more as a friendship than a confirmed romance.
That makes the recent beach outing particularly interesting.
Before the finale, both Drew and Melody seemed hesitant to define what they had. Now that the cameras are off and the pressure of the game is gone, they finally have the opportunity to find out whether their Big Brother flirtmance works in real life.
So, Are Drew and Melody Actually Dating?
For now, the answer is: we don’t know.
Neither Drew nor Melody has publicly confirmed that they are officially a couple.
But fans do have a few reasons to keep watching.
Their chemistry inside the house was obvious. Both have admitted they care about each other. Drew has openly left the possibility of a future relationship on the table, and Melody’s post-finale beach photo confirms that they are already spending time together outside the house.
Whether that turns into an actual relationship remains to be seen.
But if Melody’s sunglasses reflection was meant to tease fans, it certainly worked.
Big Brother 28 is finished, but “Melodrew” may still have another chapter coming.
