Big Brother 28 spoilers: Week 6 has officially kicked into high gear, and new Head of Household Yash Patel has made one of the biggest moves of the season so far. At the nomination ceremony, Yash placed Angela Murray, Dee Valladares and Haley Thogmartin on the block, putting two of the season’s returning reality-TV veterans in danger for the first time.
Yash won the Week 6 HOH following Chuk Anyanwu’s eviction and quickly made it clear during late-night conversations that he was interested in taking a shot at the veterans while keeping the men in the house safe. His talks with allies including Kamu and Drew pointed toward Angela as his initial main target, with Dee going up beside her partly because Yash believes Dee has a better chance of winning competitions and could help keep Angela vulnerable.
What It Means For Angela and Dee
For Angela and Dee, the nominations are particularly significant. After surviving the first 39 days without touching the block, both returning players are now facing their first nominations of the season. Yash’s decision could also signal a bigger shift in the house, with the newer players beginning to take direct shots at the experienced reality-TV veterans rather than allowing them to continue moving through the game relatively protected.
Meanwhile, Haley finds herself in danger yet again after surviving last week’s eviction cycle that ultimately sent her close ally Chuk home. With Chuk gone and Haley increasingly isolated, she may appear to be the safest option to leave on the block. However, her ability to win competitions means Yash and the rest of the house cannot completely ignore her as a threat.
The week is far from settled. The Power of Veto could completely change Yash’s plans, and Rick Devens also possesses a powerful Diamond Veto that could potentially become a factor. For now, though, Angela appears to be Yash’s preferred target — but with Dee sitting beside her, the house could be tempted to take out an even bigger competitive and strategic threat if the opportunity remains available.
