In a video posted on Instagram, the longtime host revealed that Big Brother is on track to air its 1,000th episode this summer, a remarkable milestone for the reality competition series.
“We are only weeks away from BB28,” Julie said in the video. “I’m so excited. But first, did you know we’re making history this summer? We’re having our 1,000th episode.”
Julie went on to suggest that reaching 1,000 episodes may be unprecedented for a primetime television show, adding that she couldn’t think of another series that had accomplished the feat.
