Morgan Pope delivered one of the strongest performances of the season on Big Brother 27, racking up an incredible streak of seven straight competition wins to secure her safety week after week. But when she needed that eighth victory to reach finale night, she fell just short—ending her run and her shot at the $750,000 grand prize.
Ashley had made it clear she would cut Morgan if given the chance in Round 3 of the Final HOH, and when the moment came, she followed through. Despite the heartbreak, Morgan handled her exit with grace, walking out of the house with her head high and showing remarkable sportsmanship.

Finishing in third place is always a brutal outcome—so close to the end yet leaving with no prize money. Still, Morgan’s gameplay and dominance in competitions make her a likely candidate for another shot in a future season. For now, though, her focus is reflecting on her journey, her strategy, and of course, her complicated dynamic with Vince, which has been a hot topic all summer.
Morgan’s Exit Reflections
In Sharon Tharp’s The Exclusive interview, Morgan revealed that her jury vote ultimately went to Vince as what she described as a “pity vote.” She admitted she could see how the finale was shaping up and, despite expectations she might vote against him, she chose instead to throw him that support. Her comments line up with the tension we saw play out in the jury segment—especially after Vince failed to secure even Lauren’s vote.
Mike Bloom’s Parade interview with Morgan – Read the full interview here:
Mike: How are you doing right now, Morgan? Obviously, it’s been a heck of a day, to say the least.
Morgan: Yeah, so, I mean, it’s obviously no secret that I’m bummed, to be real. It’s bittersweet. I knew that in order for me to win this game, I was going to have to win it out. And when I lost that final HoH, I just knew. Because if I was her, I would have taken me out, because Vinny was the easier person to beat between the two of us. So it is hard because all day today, I was practicing my final speech. I was deciding who I was going to take to the end. And it turned out that I just came up short.
Mike: Let’s talk your jury vote. Were you always going to vote for Vince? Or did something happen during the jury deliberation to lead you that way?
Morgan: No. To be honest with you, I knew that either Vince and I was going to be leaving that house tonight, depending on who won. If I won, Vince was leaving. If Ashley won, I was leaving, and I knew that Vince would have given me a vote, so I therefore returned the favor. I knew his story. I knew that he’d been applying for 10 years and this show meant so much to him. But I said this before, Ashley cooked him like a well-done steak, and she was going to win regardless. So as a friend and as an ally, it was a way of me telling him, “Thank you for playing this game with me, and I’m proud that we got so far. And congrats on second place.”
While her $750,000 dream ended just short of the finish line, Morgan Pope’s competitive fire, poise, and impact on the game make her one of the most memorable players of Big Brother 27.
