Big Brother 27 houseguest Rylie Jeffries has been at the center of controversy this season, with fans calling for his removal over what they’ve described as controlling behavior toward fellow contestant and love interest Katherine Woodman.
Now, his mother, Michelle Jeffries, is speaking up in his defense. In a new interview with TMZ, Michelle insisted that the criticism of her son is unfair and exaggerated, pointing out the unique environment inside the house.

“They’re stuck in there with no TV, no radios, no phones. They’re getting to know each other in a personal way we don’t fully understand,” she explained. “He is not some obsessive stalker-type person like people are saying. He’s got a great heart and wears it on his sleeve.”
Michelle described Rylie as a small-town guy who loves deeply and wholeheartedly, and said it would be difficult to find anyone with something negative to say about him.
She also expressed interest in meeting Katherine one day, calling her “a really great girl,” and added: “If Rylie is happy, we’re happy. That’s all that matters to me.”
