The Big Brother 28 Final 4 has taken another major turn after Drew won the final Power of Veto, guaranteeing himself a spot in the Final 3 alongside Head of Household Taylor. More importantly, the victory puts one of the biggest decisions of the season directly in Drew’s hands.
Taylor originally nominated Drew and Dee, but Drew can now remove himself from the block during Thursday’s live Veto meeting. With Taylor protected as HOH, Devens will become the only possible replacement nominee, leaving Dee and Devens facing the final eviction of the season. Drew will then cast the sole vote that decides which Survivor player reaches the Final 3.
The decision has already taken an emotional toll on Drew because he has built strong relationships with both players. After winning the Veto, Drew became emotional while talking as though he were calling recently evicted Melody, admitting that he knew what she would want him to do but was unsure whether he could actually make that move.

That move appears to be evicting Devens, someone Drew has developed an especially close relationship with throughout the season. However, Taylor and Dee have both started making the case that allowing Devens to reach the end could be dangerous because of his competition wins and overall game. Taylor even argued on the feeds that Drew could strengthen his position by being the player responsible for taking Devens out.
Dee also knows she needs to separate her game from Devens now that the two longtime allies can no longer protect each other. She plans to emphasize Devens’ competition strength and credit him with many of the season’s major moves while presenting herself as the more manageable opponent heading into the Final 3.
Devens, meanwhile, has started building his own case to Drew. He plans to remind Drew of their relationship and the conversations they have had about reaching the end together, while also arguing that Drew may have a better chance against him than Dee.
For most of the season, Dee and Devens worked together as one of the strongest partnerships in the house. Now Drew has the power to break them apart just one step before finale night.
Taylor and Drew are officially safe, while Dee and Devens must convince Drew that the other person should become the final member of the jury.
The Final 4 Veto has done exactly what everyone expected it to do: it has placed the entire game in the hands of one voter.
