The Big Brother 28 house is heading into another unusual night as the fallout from the Double Eviction continues. With the Pharaoh’s Curse now affecting the game, the Final 5 are facing a much faster and more unpredictable path to the finale.
Tonight’s episode is expected to give viewers a closer look at how the latest twist is changing the endgame, including the new Head of Household and the nominations that have put two players in danger.
Rick Devens Takes the HOH
Following the Double Eviction, Devens won the Week 11 Head of Household competition, putting him in control with only five houseguests remaining.

The timing could not be more important. At this stage of the game, there is nowhere to hide, and Devens had to make a decision that could determine the Final 4.
Drew and Melody Hit the Block
Devens ultimately nominated Drew and Melody for eviction.
The nominations immediately created a major storyline because both players have been important parts of the season. Drew has demonstrated his ability to win competitions, while Melody has been involved in several significant strategic decisions.
With the Final 5 now in place, the nomination ceremony has put both players in a fight for their place in the endgame.
The Pharaoh’s Curse Changes the Rules
But this isn’t simply another regular week.
The Pharaoh’s Curse has introduced an accelerated eviction, with the houseguests reportedly being told that only the HOH and Power of Veto winner are guaranteed safety. That has created uncertainty about exactly how the special eviction will play out.
The twist was triggered after Devens pressed a mysterious button and subsequently received $10,000, according to current spoiler reports. The other houseguests have been left trying to figure out exactly what the Curse means for their games.
Drew Wins the Power of Veto
There is already another major development heading into tonight’s episode: Drew won the Week 11 Power of Veto.
That win guarantees Drew a place in the Final 4 and means Devens must deal with a replacement nomination. Current reports indicate that Taylor Brown could become the replacement nominee, while Devens has indicated that he wants Drew to remain in the game.
Who Will Make the Final 4?
The biggest question now is whether the Pharaoh’s Curse will follow the expected path or deliver another surprise.
If the current plans hold, Melody could be in serious danger, but the unusual rules surrounding the Curse mean nothing should be considered completely settled until the eviction takes place.
With the Final 4 within reach, Big Brother 28 is moving at full speed — and tonight’s episode could reveal just how much the Pharaoh’s Curse has changed the game.
What do you think of Rick’s nominations? And who do you think will make the Final 4?
