What a difference one week can make in the Big Brother 28 house. Barrett went from Head of Household and taking a major shot at the Icons to sitting on the block and asking one of those same players to help keep him in the game.
Last week, Barrett nominated Angela, Dee and Devens, hoping to break up the veteran trio. Devens saved himself in the BB Block Buster, and Angela was ultimately evicted over Dee. Now Yash is HOH, Barrett is nominated, and Dee and Devens appear to have the upper hand.
Barrett Makes His Pitch to Devens
With his game in danger, Barrett approached Devens and tried to sell him on keeping him around. Barrett reportedly argued that he could become a useful weapon for Dee and Devens and pointed toward other strong competitors as bigger threats.

Devens listened to the pitch, but there is little indication that it changed the plan. Feed discussions have repeatedly shown Dee and Devens wanting Barrett out, and Barrett remains the current target if he fails to win Thursday’s BB Block Buster.
The irony is hard to miss: only days after putting Devens on the block, Barrett now needs Devens’ vote to potentially save his game.
And Barrett may be telling different sides exactly what they want to hear. Before making his pitch to the Icons, he told the cameras that he planned to present himself as a shield for Dee and Devens while telling Drew, Yash and Taylor that he would go after the remaining Icons. He also said that if he survived and won HOH, Dee and Devens could once again hit the block.
Drew and Yash’s “Fight” Hides the Real Story
While Barrett campaigns, one of Week 10’s biggest secrets continues to stay hidden.
Drew and Yash were the final two standing in the marathon Veto competition. Instead of battling all the way to the end, they quietly reached an agreement. Yash agreed to let Drew take the Veto after Drew promised not to vote Taylor out this week and not to nominate Yash or Taylor if he wins the next HOH.
The rest of the house apparently interpreted their intense conversation during the competition as an argument. Rather than correct anyone, Drew and Yash have allowed that story to spread, making them appear far less connected than they really were during the final moments of the Veto.
That misunderstanding appears to still be working. Feed reports showed Dee and Taylor continuing to discuss the supposed disagreement as if it had actually happened.
Barrett’s Game Comes Down to the Block Buster
Drew ultimately used the Veto on himself, forcing Yash to put Taylor on the block because the BB Bribe prevents him from nominating Dee or Devens. That leaves Barrett, Melody and Taylor as the final three nominees heading into Thursday.
For Barrett, the path is becoming very simple: win the BB Block Buster or hope his campaign finally moves the votes.
And with a double eviction arriving Thursday, September 17, even surviving the first eviction may only buy someone a few more minutes of safety. This could get messy very quickly.
