Big Brother 28 Week 9 Eviction: Angela Becomes the First Icon to Fall

The Big Brother 28 house has officially lost one of its biggest personalities. After a chaotic Week 9, Angela Murray was evicted from the game, becoming the first member of the Icons alliance to leave following Barrett’s aggressive move to break up their control.

Barrett’s HOH plan worked exactly as intended. He nominated Angela, Dee and Rick Devens, forcing the three Icons to fight against each other for survival. When Yash won the Power of Veto and chose not to use it, Barrett secured his chance to send at least one major threat home.

The BB Block Buster Changes Everything

The eviction outcome came down to the BB Block Buster competition. With all three Icons originally nominated, the winner would escape eviction and leave the remaining two players vulnerable.

Devens managed to win the competition, saving himself and forcing the house to choose between Angela and Dee.

That created a difficult decision. Both women had been important members of the Icons alliance, but the house ultimately decided Angela was the bigger threat to remove.

Angela’s Game Comes to an End

The final vote sent Angela to the jury house, while Dee remained in the game. The decision showed that Barrett’s plan had successfully weakened one of the strongest groups of the season.

Angela’s exit was emotional and memorable, fitting her unpredictable and entertaining style throughout the game. After weeks of strong personalities and major confrontations, her departure marks a significant shift in the Big Brother 28 house.

Barrett Gets His Biggest Move — But Creates New Enemies

Barrett can now celebrate one of the biggest moves of the season. He broke apart the Icons and ended their ability to control every vote.

However, the move also came with consequences.

Dee and Devens are still in the house, and neither appears ready to forgive Barrett for targeting them. Both have made it clear that if they gain power, Barrett could become one of their biggest targets.

At the same time, Barrett’s own group is not completely secure. The new alliance between Barrett, Melody, Drew, Taylor and Yash has already shown signs of tension, with trust issues continuing to develop between the players.

The Power Struggle Begins Again

Angela’s eviction officially ends the Icons’ dominance, but it does not guarantee Barrett’s safety. He removed one major threat, but he may have created several new ones.

With Dee and Devens still fighting, Yash gaining more influence, and the remaining players preparing for the next HOH battle, the game has entered a completely new phase.

Barrett won the battle in Week 9 — but the question now is whether he can survive the consequences of his biggest move yet.
