Big Brother 28 Spoilers: What to Expect From the Week 9 Veto Ceremony

Big Brother 28 Week 9 is heading into its Veto ceremony, and all signs from the live feeds point to Yash keeping the Power of Veto unused.

If that happens, Dee, Angela and Rick Devens will remain on the block exactly as Head of Household Barrett nominated them.

Yash has already indicated that he does not plan to use the Veto, despite repeated efforts from Devens to change his mind. Devens has been making a strong push for Yash to save him, promising that he would target Barrett rather than Yash if he survives the week.

So far, those pitches do not appear to have worked.

Yash seems comfortable leaving the nominations alone, which would allow Barrett’s plan to keep all three Vets in danger to move forward.

The bigger drama may come after the ceremony.

Dee and Angela are already thinking ahead to the eviction vote, while Devens continues looking for any path to survive. Angela has also been trying to strengthen her position with Yash and has discussed the possibility of working against Barrett and Drew later in the game.

That means Yash choosing not to use the Veto does not necessarily mean he plans to stay loyal to Barrett long-term.

There are also growing cracks among the newer players. Drew has expressed concern that Yash could eventually turn against him or Barrett once the Vets are weakened, while Barrett appears aware that Yash could become a major threat later.

Meanwhile, Dee and Angela are clearly not forgetting who put them on the block.

Both have talked about Barrett becoming a target if they survive the week, meaning this HOH could create consequences that carry well beyond Week 9.

The likely outcome of the Veto ceremony is straightforward:
  • Yash keeps the Veto.
Dee, Angela and Devens stay nominated.

But the real uncertainty begins after that, when the house has to decide which of the three becomes the biggest threat to remove.

If Angela remains on the block next to either Dee or Devens, she could benefit from being seen as the lesser threat. A Dee versus Devens matchup, however, could create a much more difficult decision for the house.

So while the Veto ceremony itself may not deliver a surprise, the vote that follows could still reshape the entire Big Brother 28 game.

For now, the expectation is clear: Yash leaves Barrett’s nominations intact and forces the Vets to fight for survival.
