Big Brother 28 Spoilers: Devens Makes a Last-Ditch Plea to Yash After Veto Win

Big Brother 28 Week 9 is getting even more interesting after Yash won the Power of Veto, putting himself in a powerful position ahead of the Veto ceremony.

Yash won BB Comics, narrowly beating Rick Devens by just 26 seconds. His victory guarantees his safety this week and gives him the power to either save one of the three nominees — Dee, Angela or Devens — or leave Barrett’s nominations exactly as they are.

Right now, all signs point to Yash keeping the Veto unused.

That would leave Dee, Angela and Devens on the block together and keep Barrett’s plan to break up the remaining Icons/Vets fully intact.

Devens, however, is not giving up without a fight.

He has reportedly been making a direct pitch to Yash, trying to convince him to use the Veto. Devens has even suggested that if Yash saves him, he would avoid targeting Yash and instead go after Barrett and Drew.

Devens has also tried to get Taylor involved in helping push the idea.

So far, though, Yash does not appear convinced.

After hearing Devens’ pitch, Yash discussed the conversation with Melody, and there has been little indication that he is seriously considering changing course.

Strategically, keeping the Veto unused makes sense for Yash.

He is currently part of a temporary “Cease Fire” with Barrett, Taylor, Melody and Drew, with the group seemingly focused on weakening the Vets before turning on each other. Using the Veto would force Barrett to name a replacement nominee and could unnecessarily damage Yash’s position.

If Yash leaves the nominations the same, Dee, Angela and Devens will all remain in danger heading into the rest of the week.

Devens appears to be one of the main targets, with Dee also in a vulnerable position. Angela may currently have the best chance of surviving if the nominations stay locked.

The biggest question now is whether Yash sticks with the expected plan or shocks the house by saving one of the nominees.

For Devens, the Veto ceremony could be his final chance to change the direction of Week 9.
