Big Brother 28 Week 9 has officially taken a dramatic turn after Head of Household Barrett followed through with one of the boldest nomination plans of the season.
Barrett nominated Dee, Angela and Rick Devens, putting all three veteran players on the block together and making it clear that he is finally taking a direct shot at the Icons/Vets.
The move gives Barrett a strong chance of sending one of them out. By nominating all three, he reduces the possibility of an un-nominated Vet winning the Power of Veto and rescuing one of the others.
But the biggest complication may be Yash.
Yash has emerged as Barrett’s likely replacement nominee if Dee, Angela or Devens wins the Veto and comes off the block. That possibility became even more important after drama surrounding the BB Bribe spread through the house.

Dee, Angela and Devens claimed that Yash’s BB Bribe agreement was supposed to protect all three of them, while Yash maintained that only Dee was officially protected. The disagreement quickly became public and damaged Yash’s position with several houseguests.
Taylor was also pulled into the drama after learning that Yash had previously pushed for her eviction over Lala, despite apparently giving her a different impression.
Meanwhile, the three nominees are not exactly united.
Angela and Devens have already shown signs of tension, while Angela and Dee have discussed whether the house could ultimately choose to keep Devens over one of them. That means Barrett’s nominations may begin breaking apart the Vets from within.
The nominees are also already thinking about revenge. Dee, Angela and Devens have made it clear that if they survive the week, Barrett could quickly become one of their biggest targets.
Drew is another player to watch. His efforts to protect Devens have raised questions about where his true loyalty lies, especially as Barrett and Melody become more suspicious of his connection to the Vets.
Everything now comes down to the Power of Veto.
If nominations remain the same, Dee, Angela and Devens will continue fighting for survival. But if one of them comes down, Yash could suddenly find himself sitting on the block — and Week 9 could shift from Barrett targeting the Icons to Yash fighting for his own game.
Barrett wanted a major power move, and he has now made it.
The question is whether Week 9 ends with an Icon finally leaving the house — or with Yash becoming the unexpected casualty.
