Yash has strengthened his control over Week 6 of Big Brother 28 after winning the Power of Veto, completing an impressive HOH and Veto sweep. However, despite holding the power to change his nominations, the latest live-feed conversations suggest Yash plans to keep Angela, Dee and Haley on the block.
Yash briefly considered making a bigger move with the Veto. During conversations with Kamu and Taylor, the group discussed the possibility of Yash saving Angela and naming Rick Devens as the replacement nominee. Barrett’s name also entered the conversation as another possible replacement because of his growing relationship with the veteran players. Ultimately, though, Yash appeared uncomfortable with both options and started leaning back toward leaving his original nominations untouched.
Keeping the nominations the same would normally allow Yash to maintain complete control over his HOH week. But Rick Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto could ruin that plan.
Devens holds a special Veto that allows him to save a nominee and personally choose the replacement. He earned the power through the BB Time Capsule twist, and he can use it at one of the eligible Veto meetings.
According to the latest live-feed reports, Devens and Dee have already started preparing for Monday’s Veto meeting. Their current plan assumes that Yash will leave Angela, Dee and Haley on the block. Once Yash finishes the regular Veto portion of the ceremony, Devens plans to activate his Diamond Veto, remove **Dee** from the block and replace her with Kamu
That move would dramatically change Yash’s week.
Yash has privately moved toward wanting Dee out, even though he has sometimes told other houseguests that he does not have a strong preference. If Devens saves Dee, Yash could lose his preferred target without getting any say over her replacement.
The possibility of Kamu hitting the block makes the situation even more explosive. Kamu has become one of Yash’s closest strategic allies, meaning Devens could use his power to directly attack Yash’s numbers while protecting Dee at the same time.
Devens, however, has shown some hesitation. While preparing the plan with Dee, he questioned whether using the Diamond Veto now would actually benefit his own game because he has recently improved his relationship with both Kamu and Yash. That uncertainty leaves room for another change before the ceremony.
Dee and Devens have also discussed the Diamond Veto for several days. Devens previously told Dee that he would use the power on her if she remained on the block heading into Monday’s ceremony.
For Yash, the safest move may still be to leave his nominations unchanged and hope Devens backs away from using his power. But if Devens follows through, Yash could watch his HOH week change in a matter of seconds.
Yash may hold both the HOH key and the regular Power of Veto, but the most important power of Week 6 could still belong to Rick Devens.
Will Yash keep Angela, Dee and Haley on the block, or will Devens unleash the Diamond Veto and turn Kamu into the surprise replacement nominee? Monday’s Veto meeting could become one of the biggest moments of Big Brother 28 so far.
