Drew may have spent the first few weeks of Big Brother 28 building relationships across the house, but those connections could suddenly be working against him.
According to Big Brother Network’s live-feed coverage, members of the Red Corner are becoming increasingly suspicious of Drew. After weeks of positioning himself comfortably between different groups, he is now being questioned by some of the very people he thought he was working with.
And in the Big Brother house, suspicion can turn into a target very quickly.
Angela Raises The Alarm
Angela has apparently been uneasy about Drew for a while, particularly since the Crossovers and Toolshed came together.
Drew has remained mostly loyal to the Crossovers, but he and Barrett have never seemed completely committed to going deep into the game alongside Kamu, Haley and Chuk. For now, those relationships are useful — especially with Kamu holding HOH — but Drew and Barrett would seemingly have no problem watching another player take a shot at that trio later.

That may be a reasonable long-term strategy. The problem is letting anyone else figure it out.
Late at night, Angela approached Kamu with a warning: she believed Drew was targeting him and the Red Corner.
Even more concerning was Drew’s apparent knowledge of the Red Corner alliance name. Angela initially suggested Drew had mentioned the name himself before acknowledging that she may have been the one who said it.
Either way, the conversation was enough to put Drew under the microscope.
Drew Knows More Than They Realize
There is an important piece of information missing from Kamu’s perspective.
Devens told Drew about the Red Corner weeks ago.
Drew did not uncover the alliance by spying or piecing together clues. The information was given to him directly. But Kamu does not appear to have that context.
From his point of view, a player outside the alliance knows its name and may want some of its members out of the game.
That was enough to get Kamu’s attention.
Kamu, Haley and Devens have since discussed whether Drew is simply maintaining too many relationships and trying to play every side of the house.
And that could become a serious problem.
Perhaps the biggest warning sign for Drew is coming from Devens.
Devens has admitted that he previously encouraged Drew to maintain relationships with players on the other side of the house. Now, however, he seems concerned that Drew may have become a little too comfortable playing the middle.
More importantly, Devens has reportedly started withholding information from him.
That is where Drew should really be worried.
Once your own allies begin deciding that you cannot be trusted with information, your position inside the group is already weakening — whether you realize it or not.
There has also been speculation that Drew could have a separate group with Barrett, Mallory and Melody.
Whether that alliance actually exists may not even matter anymore. In Big Brother, perception can become reality very quickly.
The Block Buster Could Become Drew’s Loyalty Test
Devens has already floated a scenario that could put Drew in an uncomfortable position.
If Jason wins the BB Block Buster, Drew could potentially have to choose between voting out Mallory or LaTrice.
The Red Corner would apparently expect him to vote against Mallory.
If he does, Drew could temporarily calm some of the suspicion surrounding him. If he refuses, Kamu, Haley and Devens may see that as confirmation that Drew is more loyal to Barrett, Mallory and Melody than he is to them.
Suddenly, what should be a straightforward eviction vote could become a loyalty test Drew does not even realize he is taking.
Making things even more complicated is Drew’s relationship with Kamu. The two have a final-two deal called the Handymen, inspired by Derrick and Cody’s famous Hitmen alliance.
Drew has spent much of the season trying to be everybody’s guy.
Now that strategy may be exactly what is getting him into trouble.
Haley Is Already Considering Drew For The Block
The paranoia has progressed far enough that Haley has reportedly discussed using Drew as a pawn if she wins HOH.
That does not necessarily mean Drew has suddenly become her main target, but simply hearing his name discussed as a possible nominee shows how quickly his position has changed.
And Big Brother history has taught us plenty about what can happen to supposedly “safe” pawns.
For Drew, the best move right now might be to stop giving people reasons to compare notes.
There are still much bigger and more obvious targets in the house. He does not need to create another one by revealing too much information or appearing overly comfortable with every side.
Is Drew Becoming A Real Target?
Drew is certainly not doomed, but he is no longer sitting as comfortably as he once was.
Angela has put a spotlight on him. Devens is becoming more cautious about what information he shares with him. Haley is already discussing the possibility of putting him on the block.
Individually, none of those developments would necessarily be disastrous. Together, they show that a new narrative about Drew is beginning to form.
He still has time to repair those relationships, rebuild trust and redirect attention toward the bigger threats in the house.
But if Drew continues trying to maintain strong connections with every side, he could eventually discover that none of those sides fully trust him.
And in Big Brother, once paranoia takes hold, it can be very difficult to stop.
