The first full day of week 3 Big Brother 28 Kamu’s Head of Household reign has already produced a clear strategy, and it appears another backdoor plan could be on the cards in the house.
After winning the Week 3 HOH competition following Rome Seymour’s eviction, Kamu wasted little time discussing nominations with his closest allies. While his initial targets seemed straightforward, overnight conversations have already reshaped his plans.
Early Targets Quickly Change
When the live feeds returned after Thursday’s live show, Kamu told Drew he was considering nominating Jason, LaLa, and Mallory, with Jason viewed as the primary target and Mallory as the backup option.
However, as alliance members gathered later in the evening, the strategy evolved into something much more familiar.
Rather than putting Jason on the block immediately, Kamu is now reportedly planning to leave him off the nominations altogether and attempt a backdoor after the Power of Veto competition—a strategy that proved successful during Rick Devens’ Week 2 HOH.
Lyric Could Become a Pawn
The revised plan comes with one major complication.
To execute the backdoor, Kamu may need to nominate Lyric as a pawn despite recently assuring her that she would be safe this week. While he reportedly isn’t thrilled about breaking that promise, discussions among his alliance suggest they believe it’s the best path to getting Jason out of the game.
Using Lyric as a temporary nominee would allow Kamu to replace her with Jason should the veto plan unfold as expected.
Mallory Remains the Backup Target
As with any Big Brother week, plans can change quickly.
If Jason wins safety or the backdoor opportunity falls apart, Mallory appears to be Kamu’s preferred alternative target, making her one of the houseguests most at risk heading into the nomination ceremony.
Week 3 Is Following a Familiar Pattern
Kamu’s victory also extends the dominance of the Red Corner/Toolshed alliance, which has now controlled the Head of Household room for three consecutive weeks.
With Dee, Rick Devens, and now Kamu all steering the game, the alliance continues to dictate the pace of the season while the remaining outsiders struggle to gain any momentum.
The official Week 3 nominations are expected later on Friday, but if the latest live feed conversations are any indication, Jason remains the ultimate target—even if he never touches the nomination block on nomination day.
