Big Brother Season 27 will premiere on CBS with a 90-minute episode on Thursday, July 10 (8:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. ET). That’s a week sooner than Season 26’s premiere date, so we do have that to celebrate.
The series is well known for keeping a lid on the details of the season until much closer to the premiere date. Presumably, that’s to ensure the houseguests know as little as possible about the house, their fellow houseguests and the plans for the season until they’re officially cut off from the outside world. We’ve gotten some potential clues about the season, but nothing solid just yet.

At this point, we can only speculate about when official details will be revealed. With that in mind, let’s look at the timeline of Season 26 in 2024
Tuesday, July 9, 2024 – Big Brother revealed images and info about the house and theme of the season
Monday, July 15, 2024 – Big Brother announced the names, photos and bios of the BB26 cast members
Wednesday, July 17, 2024 – Big Brother Season 26 premiered.
Assuming there’s a similar timeline for Big Brother Season 27, we might expect the house and theme reveal during the first week of July, and then the cast reveal during the week of the premiere, which as we’ve discussed, happens on Thursday, July 10th.
Beyond that, we’ll have to wait for whatever tidbits CBS or Julie Chen Moonves might share about the series as Season 27’s premiere approaches.
