Big Brother Star Bayleigh Dayton Says She’s “Scared and Alone” While Stuck in Dubai Amid Iran War

Former Big Brother contestant Bayleigh Dayton revealed that she and her children were stranded in Dubai as tensions escalated in the Middle East during the ongoing conflict involving Iran.

Dayton, who appeared on Big Brother seasons 20 and 22, currently lives in Dubai with her two children, Alora and Christopher II. The kids are from her marriage to fellow Big Brother alum Chris “Swaggy C” Williams, whom she met on the reality show in 2018.

According to Dayton, the frightening situation began on February 28 when she woke up to news of an Iranian attack nearby. She said the danger felt very real after noticing smoke rising close to her home.

As the conflict intensified, the U.S. State Department urged American citizens in several Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, to leave due to security concerns. However, Dayton explained that leaving the country had been difficult because flights out of the region were limited. She said some airspace had slowly reopened, but many planes were not flying directly to the United States.

In an emotional video shared on Instagram on March 4, Dayton admitted she felt “scared and alone” while waiting for a chance to evacuate. She noted that her husband had already traveled to the U.S. before the attacks began, leaving her in Dubai with their children.

The reality star joked that escaping a war zone was never something she expected to face in 2026. For now, she said her family had been staying in a protected “green zone” while waiting for travel options to become available.

Despite the frightening situation, Dayton said she felt grateful for the local government’s efforts to protect the city and its residents. She added that the safest option for the moment was to remain sheltered until flights resumed.

Williams also responded to his wife’s post, promising to help bring her and their children home as soon as travel restrictions were lifted.

Reflecting on the experience, Dayton said being so close to an active conflict had changed her perspective. She explained that in moments like this, the only things that truly mattered were personal safety and the wellbeing of loved ones. She added that while her past work as a flight attendant had prepared her to stay calm in stressful situations, nothing could truly prepare someone for living through a war.
