As Week 3 of Big Brother 27 intensifies, Head of Household Lauren Domingue found herself in a strategic crossroads following Keanu’s Veto win and subsequent removal from the block. In a private conversation with fellow houseguest Zach, the two broke down the political landscape of the house, weighing the consequences of nominating either Ashley or Adrian as the replacement.
Playing the Game… Quietly
The conversation began with Zach noting that Lauren had initially avoided talking game. Lauren clarified that she only said that to dodge interactions with potential nominees before finalizing her decision.
“I wanted to decide what to say before I had those conversations,” she explained.
Lauren then admitted that her shortlist had narrowed to Ashley or Adrian. She seemed to lean toward Ashley but was still feeling out the smarter move. Zach reassured her he was in the loop—at least partially—but confirmed Vinny hadn’t spilled specifics.

The Will Dilemma and Morgan’s Discontent
Zach then introduced a complicating factor: Morgan. According to him, Morgan still doesn’t understand why Lauren previously put Will on the block. Zach tried to explain that Will had refused to speak with Lauren about game once he caught wind of his potential nomination, a move that hurt his standing in Lauren’s eyes.
“She’s also blinded by the Will situation… she’s thinking emotionally at that point,” Zach said of Morgan.
Lauren added that Adrian had at least made a logical case when speaking to her, unlike Will, and therefore her decisions weren’t based on emotion.
“If anything, it was not an emotional decision,” she clarified.
Zach agreed, affirming his support for Lauren’s logic, and pivoted to why nominating Ashley might make more strategic sense.
Ashley or Adrian: The Safer Bet?
Zach laid out the alliance dynamics: Mickey, Ashley, Morgan, Will, Jimmy, and Rachel as a possible group forming on the other side. He argued that targeting Ashley was the smarter play, noting that the opposing alliance was already annoyed, thinking Adrian had manipulated Lauren emotionally.
“They think you made an emotional decision,” Zach explained. “But trust me, I’m 100% onboard with you.”
Lauren echoed his thinking but voiced frustration that Keanu had taken himself off the block, forcing her hand to nominate someone else. Still, she saw an upside: Keanu might make moves she wasn’t willing to take herself.
“In some ways, it’s not that bad. He wants to take shots I don’t,” Lauren said.
She made it clear she didn’t want Kelley to go home this week.
“She is willing to take the big shots other people aren’t,” Lauren emphasized.
Zach wholeheartedly agreed, aligning himself with Lauren’s desire to preserve aggressive players willing to shake up the house.
Final Thoughts
With the replacement nominee looming, Lauren appears to be inching toward Ashley as the safer and more strategic option—especially with Zach’s full support behind her. As the house fractures into defined sides, Lauren is attempting to walk a fine line: playing a smart game while managing perceptions and relationships on both ends of the spectrum.
With eviction night around the corner, all eyes are on Lauren’s next move—one that could cement alliances or ignite new rivalries.
