Ashley Hollis — who won CBS’s Big Brother Season 27 — recently addressed questions about her relationship with fellow finalist Morgan Pope during a livestream Q&A with fans. The two were once close allies in the Big Brother house, but Ashley confirmed they are no longer friends now that the show has ended.
Ashley said she chose to block Morgan on social media, not out of hatred or resentment, but simply because she was tired of seeing Morgan’s posts. According to Ashley, Morgan had posted videos suggesting she was the season’s best player and that Ashley shouldn’t have won — or that runner-up Vince Panaro deserved the prize instead. Those videos contributed to negative energy that Ashley didn’t want to see anymore, so she blocked Morgan to avoid them.

Despite the social media block, Ashley stressed there isn’t “true beef” between them, and she doesn’t actively dislike Morgan — she just doesn’t want negativity around her. Ashley said she’s grateful for the Big Brother experience and is excited about staying involved in the Big Brother community, including plans to do recaps in the future, but she’s also eager to live her own life outside of the drama.
She also hinted that behind-the-scenes interactions during and after the show made her less inclined to remain close with Morgan, describing parts of their dynamic as having a “huge ego” and contributing to her decision to distance herself.
