Big Brother 27 launched Thursday night with a bang—featuring the return of iconic BB winner Rachel Reilly, the mysterious arrival of a devilish new “Mastermind,” and a season-long twist: a Secret Accomplice is hiding among the houseguests. But the big question remains—who is it?
We know one thing for sure: it’s not Rachel. The show made it clear that while Rachel is back in the game, she isn’t the accomplice. That rules out one major suspect. And given that the accomplice faces eviction if their identity is discovered, producers likely cast someone who wouldn’t upset the show’s balance if removed early.

Which brings us to a theory: the accomplice is probably a woman.
Why? Because there’s a clear gender split this season—eight men and eight women. Since Rachel has officially joined as a player, maintaining that gender symmetry might have been a production priority. If the accomplice were male and got evicted early, it would throw off the balance. So, from a numbers standpoint, a female accomplice makes the most sense.
That said, it could still be a man.
For a while, Vince seemed like a prime suspect. His “I’m unemployed” shtick could easily be a cover, and let’s be honest—he does twirl his mustache like a cartoon villain. But here’s the catch: Vince is also the first Head of Household. If he were the accomplice and got exposed, that would leave the house without an HOH. It’s unlikely producers would risk losing such a key position so early in the game. That likely takes him off the table.
It’s also likely that the accomplice was told to either throw the HOH competition or avoid it entirely, which further narrows down the field.
So who’s hiding in plain sight? Who’s quietly pulling strings for the Mastermind? The house is already swirling with paranoia—and we’re only one episode in.
Who do you think the Secret Accomplice is?
