Big Brother 27 houseguest Mickey Lee was evicted from the house in a jaw-dropping blindside on September 4, after admitting she had deliberately thrown the evening’s challenge to protect her ally, Vince Panaro.
The eviction, which took place on Day 59, was crucial as the eliminated contestant became the final player of the season to miss out on jury placement. From this point forward, any houseguest voted out would be sequestered with other jurors, cut off from the outside world except for select show clips, and ultimately help decide the winner during the September 28 live finale.
This week, Vince, Mickey, and Ashley Hollis were nominated for eviction, leaving their Big Brother futures hanging in the balance. The trio faced off inside the BB Blockbuster Arena in a tense competition titled Forensic Frenzy. Each competitor was locked in a wind tunnel while multicolored “DNA” balls swirled around them, and they had to capture the correct colors and arrange them in order.
All three initially struggled, but Vince surged ahead as the challenge progressed. Mickey kept close behind him, but Vince’s determination paid off — he clinched the win and pulled himself off the block, narrowly avoiding elimination. The 34-year-old celebrated with a roar, knowing the victory had saved his game at a critical moment.
With Vince safe, the house was left to choose between 35-year-old Florida event curator Mickey and 25-year-old New York attorney Ashley Hollis. In the end, the vote was lopsided: Mickey was evicted in a 6–1 decision.
The result stunned Mickey, who quietly repeated “wow, wow… damn, I can’t believe this” as she left the house. Unlike previous emotional exits this season, she did not cry or linger, instead offering brief hugs before walking swiftly out the door.
In her exit interview with host Julie Chen Moonves, Mickey admitted that deep down, she sensed her time was up. “I could sense some things going on in the house that didn’t seem as genuine that I thought I trusted the most,” she explained.
She then revealed a shocking twist: she had intentionally thrown the Forensic Frenzy competition as part of a deal made within her alliance, The Melting Pot, alongside Vince and Morgan.
“I was in an alliance called The Melting Pot with Vince and Morgan,” Mickey said. “They wanted me to throw the competition to make sure Vinny had the opportunity to stay. Everyone made their promises to keep me, but I only got one vote to stay.”
Her eviction not only protected Vince but also set the stage for an explosive final stretch of the season, as the game shifted into jury territory and the stakes grew higher than ever — both strategically and personally.
