It’s been a rollercoaster of a weekend in the Big Brother 27 house, with Head of Household Mickey at the center of all the chaos. After seizing power by overthrowing Rylie’s HOH reign, she had the chance to completely shake up the game—but instead, she initially played it safe by nominating familiar faces Keanu and Kelley, both of whom have already seen the block.

Rylie, reeling from his HOH being cut short, landed on the block himself for the first time. You’d think Mickey might use this opportunity to send him packing and settle the tension between them. But that wasn’t the plan. Keanu remained her primary target—until he threw a wrench in everything by winning the Power of Veto again.
Plans in Flux
Keanu’s Veto win forced Mickey to reconsider her strategy. Breaking up a budding showmance crossed her mind, but a conversation with Rylie softened her stance. Keanu also made efforts to smooth things over with Mickey and Morgan, which helped redirect the target away from himself—and straight toward Jimmy.
Jimmy’s name began circulating as a potential renominee. His strategic positioning in the house has made allies in multiple corners, and even his own alliance, the Triple Threat, is starting to question his loyalty.
The Case for Jimmy… or Vince… or Ava?
As Sunday began, Mickey leaned toward nominating Jimmy. But then Ashley and Will chimed in, nudging her to consider Vince instead. Mickey hesitated, unsure whether she could secure the votes to evict Vince—he’s widely liked, and evicting him might backfire.
Rachel added more drama when she suggested nominating herself—using the codename “Ava.” Her emotional pitch tugged at Mickey’s heart. Rachel later clarified that if she can’t win the BB Block Buster, she’d rather go home to her family. Mickey, valuing Rachel as a jury ally, wasn’t ready to see her go.
Rachel also couldn’t bring herself to vote against Jimmy and instead suggested Vince might be the better target this week. Ironically, both Jimmy and Vince made the same move—floating each other’s names as possible renom options. Meanwhile, Keanu threw Ashley into the mix as an alternative target.
Shifting Sands
Mickey continued to waver. “Ava” (Rachel) warned that nominating Jimmy would be a big swing—he’s well-positioned and a real threat to win the BB Block Buster. This gave Mickey pause, and for a while, it seemed like she might pivot to Vince. But Morgan worked hard behind the scenes, trying to steer Mickey away from targeting Vince altogether.
Vince, sensing danger, asked Lauren whether he should “blow up” Jimmy’s game in a last-ditch effort to stay safe. The paranoia and anticipation only grew.
The Decision
By the end of the night, Mickey made her decision: she’s going after Jimmy.
She informed Vince and Zach of her plan, and Vince was more than happy to play along. In fact, he even offered to stir up drama to deflect attention away from Mickey’s move.
It’s a risky play that’s bound to cause fireworks at the Veto Ceremony. Whether it solidifies Mickey’s position or comes back to bite her remains to be seen. In the Big Brother house, one bold move can either make your game—or end it.
