Big Brother 27: Ashley Pleads Her Case to Lauren — “It Would Honestly Hurt If You Put Me Up”

Tensions were high in the Big Brother 27 house as Head of Household Lauren weighed her nomination options. During a heartfelt conversation, Ashley made a compelling case to stay off the block, emphasizing loyalty and the dangers of following others’ agendas.

Ashley began with an emotional appeal, stating,

“I would honestly be very hurt if you put me up, and you know I’m never coming for you.”

She reminded Lauren of their consistent relationship in the game:

“I don’t know if I’m a target, but I guess my pitch is — you know I’ve never come for you. I’ve always supported you, even when you came to me for advice. I never tried to sway you or push an agenda.”

Ashley expressed concern over other houseguests influencing Lauren’s decision.

“There are definitely stronger, more dominant personalities in the house trying to push their own narratives. And you know they’re not doing it for your game, they’re doing it for theirs.”

Lauren acknowledged that some players have suggested both Ashley and Adrian as potential nominees, simply because they had been on the block before and managed to save themselves. Ashley responded by highlighting the competitive difference between herself and other houseguests like Kelley.

“Let’s be real — if it comes down to puzzles or competitions, I’m not beating Kelley. She’s done three blockbusters already; I haven’t even done one.”

Lauren admitted that the choice wasn’t straightforward.

“That’s what’s confusing me,” she said. “I’ve also had decent conversations with Adrian, so I don’t necessarily want to put him up either.”

Ashley pressed further, challenging Lauren to trust her own instincts rather than be swayed by house pressure.

“It’s your game. You came here for your family and your grandma. If those aren’t truly your thoughts, why are you considering it? If it’s not your decision — and you don’t want to do it — then don’t.”

Ashley concluded by reminding Lauren of her low-key game style:

“I’ve never bossed you around. I’ve never told you what to do. If people are pushing names like me or Adrian, it’s just a deflection to save themselves.”

With Lauren unable to compete in the next Head of Household competition, the stakes for her decision are higher than ever. Ashley’s plea may have hit home, but in the Big Brother house, alliances shift fast — and every word counts.
