‘Big Brother 26’ episode 30 eviction recap: Find out what happened on the night of Thursday, September 19

Heading into the 30th episode of “Big Brother 26,” Angela Murray had just won the Power of Veto and pulled Kimo Apaka off the block. This forced Head of Household Leah Peters to name a replacement nom, so she put up T’Kor Clottey next to her best friend in the house, Rubina Bernabe. The assumption was Rubina would be next to go, but with T’Kor seen as the bigger threat, anything could happen. So, which houseguest was evicted and sent to the jury house?

Below, read the minute-by-minute “Big Brother” Season 26, Episode 30 eviction recap to find out what happened Thursday, September 19, 2024 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Here are the names of the nine remaining houseguests: Angela MurrayCam Sullivan-BrownChelsie BahamKimo ApakaLeah PetersMakensy ManbeckRubina Bernabe and T’kor Clottey.

8:00 p.m. — “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 29th episode, the houseguests continued living outside in “Jankie World,” a horrific land where sing-a-longs and dance parties never end, and pizza and ice cream are always on the menu. As Head of Household, Leah was hoping to break up the trio of Kimo, Rubina and T’Kor, but a “Jankie” twist revealed two possible Vetoes could be in play. With the pressure on, Angela pulled off the win, taking the golden Power of Veto, while Leah came in second to claim the “Jankie Veto,” which could only be activated if she won a carnival game at the Veto meeting. Feeling guilty for voting to evict him two weeks in a row, Angela mended fences with Kimo by pulling him off the block. When Leah failed to activate her “Jankie Veto,” her hopes of pitting Chelsie and T’Kor against each other fell through. Instead, she settled for replacing Kimo with T’Kor, who is now on the block alongside Rubina. Which one will the house choose to evict? And who will become the second member of the jury?

8:10 p.m. — First of all, Julie is back and COVID-free, so we’re all happy about that. She reveals the fun and games of “Jankie World” are about to come to an end, but first, let’s see how things played out after last night’s Veto meeting! Angela is distraught when she sees Rubina crying, but felt she had to make things right with Kimo. In the Diary Room, Rubina says this is the first time she’s going to have to be really selfish. She hates being on the block next to her best friend. T’Kor won’t go down easy, and is also hoping to secure her own votes to stay. Meanwhile, Leah is sobbing in a corner and tells Angela, “I feel like a bad person.” She knows she did what’s best for her game, but it doesn’t make it any easier. Leah doesn’t want to push people to vote a certain way, but hopes the house sees that T’Kor is the bigger threat.

8:15 p.m. — Cam and Makensy have a private discussion about how T’Kor should be the one to go. They don’t think anyone could beat her at the end. Cam is in a tough position because his closest ally is Chelsie, and she’s definitely voting for T’Kor to stay. Later, Makensy tells Leah and Angela she’d like to vote out T’Kor. They need three votes. With Angela and Makensy locked in, they think their best bet would be flipping Cam to their side and sending T’Kor to the jury house. Meanwhile, Rubina is an emotional wreck. Makensy tells her she has two votes, but they need a third. Rubina isn’t as optimistic about Cam as Makensy is, and decides to campaign to Kimo. Kimo admits in the Diary Room that he’s closer to T’Kor and will probably vote for her to stay. Rubina starts to think this is the end of the road for her, but she won’t give up just yet.

8:25 p.m. — “Jankie World” has lost its luster and the houseguests are all cranky and on edge. Chelsie is especially annoyed by Cam, and Leah is convinced Chelsie is just jealous of how close Cam and Makensy have gotten. Chelsie might have a crush on Cam that’s not being reciprocated in a way she’d like. Later, Cam apologizes to Chelsie for making her upset. Chelsie tells Cam that he’s “toying with all the women.” Cam says he’s just trying to fit in. In the Diary Room, Cam voices his frustration and says he doesn’t understand why Chelsie doesn’t trust him. He finds her friendship with T’Kor more threatening than his friendship with Makensy.

8:35 p.m. — Julie checks in with the houseguests who are STILL in “Jankie World.” They have a live sing-a-long, which is super fun for the live audience — not so much for the houseguests in the backyard. Now, it’s time for the live vote and eviction. Both T’Kor and Rubina have a final chance to sway votes with a brief statement. Neither says anything notable. The vote goes as follows: Makensy votes to evict T’Kor, Kimo votes to evict Rubina, Cam votes to evict T’Kor, Chelsie votes to evict T’Kor and Angela votes to evict T’Kor. It’s official. By a vote of 4-1, T’Kor has been evicted from the “Big Brother” house.

9:00 p.m. — For the first time this season, the HOH competition will get started live! As the outgoing HOH, Leah is not eligible to compete. In “Eye Candy,” each player will stack “candies” to make the biggest stack they can. They have one hour to complete this task, so clearly we won’t see who wins. None of the players can see each other, so when they buzz in they’ll just have to hope they’ve built a structure big enough to defeat everyone else. If you don’t watch live feeds, you’ll have to wait until Sunday night to find out who wins! Julie then reveals that Zingbot will return on Sunday, there will be a 90-minute episode on Wednesday, and a double eviction next Thursday! What a week!
