Mama Felicia or Mama Cirie: which of these fan-favorites was about to be evicted from the “Big Brother 25″ house on Thursday, November 2? Their downfall started when Matt Klotz won Head of Household and nominated both of them for eviction, despite telling them that Bowie Jane was his real target. But Bowie was really a part of the Final 3 “Mafia” alliance between Matt, Bowie and Jag Bains, and once Jag won the Power of Veto, it was all over for one of the two Mamas. So who ended up leaving the house in fifth place?
Below, read our minute-by-minute “Big Brother” Season 25, Episode 39 live recap to find out what happened on the night of Thursday, November 2 at 9:00 p.m. ET/PT.
9:00 p.m. – “Previously on ‘Big Brother’!” In the 38th episode, Felicia and Cirie battled their hearts out in the Veto competition, but it was Jag who came away with yet another win. He obviously chose not to use the power, which means either Felicia or Cirie will now be evicted tonight. Also last time, the players competed in a fun Halloween candy-themed luxury competition for $5,000, with Matt eking out a victory. But enough chit-chat — let’s get to tonight’s eviction!
9:05 p.m. – After the Veto Meeting, with Cirie and Felicia on the block Jag was under pressure to convince Matt that Cirie is the one that needs to be evicted, not Felicia. Jag started by asking Matt who the better competitor is between the two, angling to convince Matt that Cirie has been hiding how much “comp potential” she could have because she hasn’t been under pressure like Felicia and could have been throwing comps all season. When Bowie entered the conversation, she backed Jag with the topic that Cirie is the bigger risk to keep around. Matt could tell that Jag and Bowie both want Cirie to go so he thought he needed to avoid that if possible without pushing too hard.
9:09 p.m. – Cirie attempted her own pitch with Bowie by apologizing for the Red situation and vowing to play with her moving forward if she has her vote to stay. Bowie gave her a hug, but Cirie noticed that Bowie’s energy was different from the last time she was on the block and so it made her very nervous that she could be the one they’re evicting.
9:14 p.m. – In the jury house, Cameron and Cory had nothing but respect for each other as competitors that didn’t make it as far as they could. They correctly guessed that Blue would be the houseguest following them into jury, but were surprised that America came in right behind her from the double eviction. Seeing the footage from the house, it became clear to all the jurors Jag was running the house, but they wrongly surmised that he’d need to win all of the remaining comps in order to stay in the house which has not been the case because of Bowie and Matt as his minions.
9:22 p.m. – During some time in the backyard with all five houseguests, Felicia became aware that Jag was taking digs at Matt and spending a lot more time with Bowie. Felicia used that as an opportunity to go to Matt and clue him in to how “insulting” Bowie and Jag have been toward him. Later, Jag noticed that “something is off” with Matt’s energy and so that prompted the two of them having a conversation about what Felicia said. That pissed Jag off because it felt like Felicia was going a step beyond telling lies and bringing personal stuff into her strategy.
9:25 p.m. – When the guys talked to Bowie about it, she and Jag made Matt believe that Felicia was playing on Matt’s disability in order to get a leg up in strategy. Jag offered that it’s possible Felicia just misinterpreted what was being said and then relayed bad information to Matt, but the whole situation rubbed Matt the wrong way and he was insisting that she be the one evicted.
9:32 p.m. – Before the live vote and eviction, Cirie and Felicia both got a last chance to plead their case to the house. Cirie thanked everyone for “93 amazing, but crazy days” and Felicia expressed gratitude for the time she’s had in the house so far and reiterated her faith that she’ll survive another eviction and make it to the end. In the Diary Room, Jag and Bowie both cast their votes to evict either Cirie or Felicia.
Week 13 Vote Results:
- Jag votes to evict: Cirie
- Bowie Jane votes to evict: Cirie
By a vote of 2-0, Cirie Fields was been evicted from the Big Brother house.
9:36 p.m. – After leaving the house, Cirie told Julie that she didn’t feel safe at all this week and though she tried to impress that upon Matt, but Jag had control over him. She knew that Jag masterminded her leaving because he knows that she’d be coming for him and wouldn’t have gone with him to the end. She admitted to Julie that playing with Jared complicated her game because there were moves like the one against Red that weren’t good for her game, but they were good for Jared’s game. In the end, Cirie declared that “Big Brother” is definitely harder than “Survivor” because of how non-stop and “pressure cooker” it is.
9:46 p.m. – In the backyard, Felicia, Bowie and Jag were set to compete for the next reign as HOH. To determine a winner, they competed in seven multiple choice questions about images from pages of a BB Comic about Julie herself.
Week 14 HOH Results:
- Round 1: Jag gets a point
- Round 2: Everyone gets a point
- Round 3: Bowie Jane gets a point
- Round 4: Jag & Felicia get a point
- Round 5: Jag & Bowie Jane get a point
- Round 6: Bowie Jane gets a point
- Round 7: Bowie Jane & Jag get a point
- Tie-breaker: Bowie Jane is closer than Jag
Bowie Jane won final 4 HOH! And secures a spot in the F3. Take note: Bowie Jane now has THREE HOH wins and was never nominated this season. Yikes. Could she earn some Jury respect at the end, or is she still playing for second place at best?
Reminder: Season finale is on Thursday, November 9th at 8PM for a two-hour live event. And definitely don’t forget that Sunday’s episode (Nov. 5th) will be the next eviction to take us down to Final 3! Get ready for the winner of Big Brother 25 to be crowned!
