Changes are arriving this week for the Big Brother 25 schedule with new showtimes and an extra long episode ahead as we’re still not even to the halfway mark of this extended season.
As part of Thursday night’s episode, host Julie Chen Moonves announced this coming Sunday’s episode would be shifted until 8:30/7:30c for September 10th. It’ll still be a full one-hour episode, just at a later time. But wait, starting the following week (Sept 17th), the Sunday Big Brother episodes will all shift to 10/9c for the rest of the season (or until CBS decides that was a bad idea).
Then later this week we’ll have a special two-hour Wednesday BB25 episode for the Power of Veto events and this one will feature Josh Duhamel, the host of CBS’s upcoming Buddy Games comp show. So I think we can rest assured the Houseguests will be competing in some similar sort of challenge like he’ll have on that show too.
And there’s still more changes for the Big Brother 25 schedule. Starting this Thursday (Sept 14th) the live eviction shows move to 8/7c for an earlier showtime. That should run for the rest of the season.
As an aside, Julie teased that next Thursday she would also reveal a big change for this season’s Jury which we’re expecting to start by next week (this next evictee could be the last to miss out, unless that’s also part of this unannounced change).
