Big Brother 25’s Red Utley clarifies why he didn’t trust America Lopez

Red Utley left Big Brother 25 on Thursday night. He was evicted on an 8-2 vote after believing he was safe for the week. Red was so taken aback by the results that he wasn’t even wearing a shirt when he met host Julie Chen Moonves.

Many doubts were raised about how he played the game, particularly his lack of communication with Cameron. Another peculiar part of his game was his mistrust of America Lopez.

In an interview with US Weekly, Big Brother 25’s Red Utley explains why he didn’t trust fellow houseguest America.

“Honestly, she just for whatever reason – she set off some alarms for me,” Red, 38, exclusively told Us Weekly after he was evicted during the Thursday, September 7, episode. “I just feel like when I did try to have conversations with her, the information that she gave out was very vague. And watching her with other people, she just felt sort of a bit shifty.”

During his time in the game, Red also expressed concerns about America to several of his fellow houseguests. Red stated of America in a conversation with Cameron Harding last month that was filmed on live feeds, “You just get feelings about certain people, and I’ve never had a good one about her.”

Red told Us Weekly that he had “some concerns” about the relationship between America and Cameron, who was his number one ally in the game until earlier this week when Jared informed Red that Cameron had turned on him.

“There was definitely a time when I felt like [Cameron] was playing with fire [with America] if you will, is the way that it felt to me,” Red told Us. “Especially with information going to one side of the house, you really want to keep that stuff within your circle. So, when other feelings get involved, like attraction and such like that, it’s real easy to pillow talk, if you will.”
