Drew Campbell may have lost his chance to become the final Head of Household on Big Brother 28, but his position heading into the finale could still be extremely strong.
Taylor won Part 1 of the Final HOH competition, while Devens defeated Drew in Part 2. That means Taylor and Devens will face each other in Round 3, and Drew can only watch as they battle for the power to make the season’s final eviction.
Normally, that would put Drew in a dangerous position. Instead, both Taylor and Devens have indicated that they plan to take Drew to the Final 2 if they win.

For Devens, the decision appears tied to the close relationship he built with Drew throughout the game. Drew protected that relationship at Final 4 when he chose to evict Dee instead of Devens, despite openly recognizing Devens as a major threat.
Taylor has a different reason for wanting Drew beside her. Taking out Devens would give her a major final move to present to the jury, especially after her strong late-game competition run.

That leaves Drew in an unusual position. He cannot win the final HOH himself, but he could still reach the Final 2 regardless of whether Taylor or Devens wins Round 3.
Of course, nothing becomes official until the Final HOH winner casts the final eviction vote. Plans can change at the last moment, especially with $750,000 on the line.
But if both finalists stick to what they have said, Drew may have already secured the most important seat of all — a place in the Final 2.
