The Big Brother 28 Final HOH competition has moved one step closer to deciding the season, and Devens won Round 2, defeating Drew and earning his place in the final round against Taylor.
Taylor had already secured her spot in Round 3 after winning the first part of the Final HOH competition. That left Drew and Devens to battle in Round 2, with only one of them able to keep their chance of becoming the season’s final Head of Household alive.
Devens came out on top, which means Taylor and Devens will now face each other in Round 3 during the October 1 finale. Drew can no longer compete for HOH and must depend on the winner to take him to the Final 2.

The stakes could hardly be higher. Whoever wins the final competition becomes the last HOH of Big Brother 28 and gets the power to choose which houseguest sits beside them in front of the jury.
For Devens, the victory keeps his game alive after Drew made the huge decision to keep him over Dee at Final 4. Drew believed that keeping Devens could leave both Taylor and Devens willing to take him to the Final 2, but that strategy now depends entirely on what happens in Round 3.
Taylor, meanwhile, continues an impressive late-game competition run. She won the Final 4 HOH and then followed it by winning Round 1 of the Final HOH competition, putting herself one victory away from controlling the final eviction.
Now the season comes down to Taylor vs. Devens.
One of them will win the final HOH, choose the last person to join them in the Final 2, and send the remaining houseguest to the jury.
Drew has done all he can. The final decision now rests with either Taylor or Devens.
