Drew Campbell has made one of the biggest decisions of the Big Brother 28 endgame, choosing to evict Dee Valladares and keep Rick Devens in the house.
After winning the final Power of Veto, Drew held all the power. He saved himself from the block and became the only person voting in the eviction. With Dee and Devens sitting beside him, Drew ultimately decided that Dee’s game had to end.
That decision officially sends Dee to the jury and leaves Drew, Taylor Brown and Rick Devens as the Final 3.
But the move is already creating plenty of debate.
Did Drew Make the Right Move?
Drew had reasons to be worried about Dee. Despite the two working together during parts of the season, Dee had reportedly been willing to cut Drew if the opportunity came.
That means Drew may have simply struck first.
However, keeping Devens comes with its own risk. Devens has survived several dangerous situations this season and remains a major threat heading into the final Head of Household competition.
Drew may now have to beat the very person he chose to save.
Drew’s Jury Management Could Become a Problem
Another major storyline heading into finale night is Drew’s relationship with the jury.
Several evicted houseguests have already questioned some of Drew’s decisions throughout the season, particularly the way he moved between alliances and turned on former allies.
If Drew reaches the Final 2, he may have a lot of explaining to do.
His decision to evict Dee could either become the move that strengthens his résumé or another decision the jury holds against him.
Dee Falls Just Short of the Final 3
Dee entered Big Brother 28 as one of the most recognizable players of the season and remained a major force deep into the game.
Reaching the Final 4 put her extremely close to finale night, but once Drew won the veto, her fate was completely in his hands.
Now her eviction sets up the final battle between Drew, Taylor and Devens.
The Final HOH Changes Everything
With Dee gone, the Final 3 now begin the last Head of Household competition of the season.
This competition will determine who earns the power to choose the final eviction and decide which two houseguests face the jury.
For Drew, the pressure is especially high.
He just chose to keep Devens in the game. If Devens wins the final HOH, Drew’s decision could come back to haunt him.
But if Drew reaches the Final 2, evicting Dee may become one of the biggest moves on his résumé.
Either way, his choice has completely changed the Big Brother 28 endgame.
