Tonight on Big Brother 28: The Pressure Cooker Veto Comp and Ceremony

Big Brother 28 is back tonight with an extended two-hour episode, and viewers are finally going to see one of the biggest competitions of the season play out on television.

Tonight’s episode airs at 8/7c on CBS and will focus heavily on the Week 10 Power of Veto competition and the fallout leading into the Veto Ceremony.

The Pressure Cooker Returns

Following Yash’s Week 10 Head of Household win, he nominated Barrett, Drew and Melody, putting three members of the remaining Newbie group in danger.

Their chance to change the week came with the return of the Pressure Cooker, this time as a Power of Veto competition.

The endurance battle lasted nearly 13 hours, with Drew and Yash eventually becoming the final two competitors standing.

But the competition didn’t simply end because someone finally dropped.

Drew and Yash Make a Deal

During the final stretch, Drew and Yash quietly negotiated a deal.

According to live-feed reports, Yash agreed to give Drew the Veto after Drew promised that he would not vote Taylor out this week and would not nominate or renominate Yash or Taylor if he wins the next HOH.

That agreement allowed Drew to walk away with the Power of Veto and guaranteed that he could remove himself from the block.

Tonight’s episode should give viewers a much better look at exactly how the marathon competition unfolded and how the deal between Drew and Yash came together.

Melody Tries to Convince Drew

After the competition, Drew’s Veto became one of the biggest talking points inside the house.

Melody even tried to persuade Drew to use the Veto on her instead of himself. Live-feed updates showed her asking Drew to save her, though Drew had just endured the marathon competition to secure his own safety.

With Drew holding the Veto, however, Yash faced a major problem.

Yash Has Only One Replacement Nominee

Because of Dee’s BB Bribe, Yash was unable to nominate or renominate Dee or Rick Devens during his HOH reign.

That left only one available replacement once Drew removed himself: Taylor.

At the Veto Ceremony, Drew ultimately used the Power of Veto on himself, and Yash named Taylor as the replacement nominee.

The final Week 10 nominees became:
  • Barrett, Melody and Taylor.
Everything Leads Into Thursday’s Double Eviction

Tonight’s episode is only the beginning of what could be a chaotic two nights of Big Brother.

Thursday’s episode will also run for two hours and feature the highly anticipated Double Eviction, meaning two Houseguests will leave the game in one night.

Before that happens, Barrett, Melody and Taylor will still have the BB Block Buster standing between them and eviction.

With the finale getting closer and the numbers shrinking fast, tonight’s Pressure Cooker and Veto Ceremony could end up shaping far more than just Week 10.

Big Brother 28 airs tonight at 8/7c on CBS.
