Big Brother 28’s Haley Thogmartin is walking back one of her strongest comments about LaTrice “Lala” Verrett, while Lala is making it clear she has a very different view of what happened between them inside the house.
After her eviction, Haley said she regrets using the word “bully” to describe Lala and now believes “mean” would have been a better word.
Haley has explained that some of Lala’s comments and interactions hurt her feelings during the game, but she no longer believes the bullying label was fair. She also admitted that the pressure of living inside the Big Brother house may have caused her to take certain moments more personally than she normally would.

Still, Haley has not completely changed her view of their relationship.
She has said there were moments that bothered her, including some that viewers may not have seen, and she questioned whether Lala’s apology to her at the time felt sincere.
Lala, meanwhile, is pushing back hard against the way Haley described their conflict.
Following her own eviction, Lala rejected the bullying accusation and described Haley as passive-aggressive. She said the two simply did not get along and compared their personalities to “oil and water.”
Lala also suggested that when she had a problem with Haley, she often chose to avoid interacting with her rather than create more conflict.
That leaves the two former houseguests with very different interpretations of the same relationship.
Haley now admits that calling Lala a bully went too far, but she still believes some of Lala’s behavior toward her was hurtful. Lala, on the other hand, appears to believe the situation was exaggerated and that their issues came down to personality clashes rather than bullying.
With both women now outside the main game and speaking openly, their feud has become one of the more interesting post-eviction storylines of Big Brother 28.
Whether they eventually clear the air after the season remains to be seen.
