Big Brother 28 has a new power player in control as Dee Valladares takes over the house for Week 7. After a chaotic Week 6 that saw Rick Devens use his Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee and send Kamu Kirk to the block, Dee has now secured the Head of Household title and appears ready to strike back at the person who put her in danger.
With Dee holding the HOH key, the focus inside the house has quickly shifted toward nominations, revenge, and whether the current power structure can survive another week.
Dee’s Main Target Appears To Be Yash
The biggest name being discussed as Dee’s target is Yash Patel.
Yash’s Week 6 HOH put Dee, Angela Murray, and Haley Thogmartin in danger, making him one of the biggest threats to Dee’s game. Although Yash successfully won power that week, his plan collapsed after Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto move changed the entire direction of the game.
Now that Dee has regained control, Yash appears to be paying the price for that move. From Dee’s perspective, removing Yash would eliminate a strong competitor while also weakening the side of the house that has been challenging her alliance.
Possible Nomination Plan
While final nominations can always change before the ceremony, the early expectation is:
- Yash Patel as the primary target
- A second nominee connected to Yash or viewed as a threat to Dee’s side
Dee and her allies will likely want to avoid creating unnecessary waves while still ensuring that Yash remains vulnerable.
Devens Continues To Influence The Game
Although Dee is the HOH, Rick Devens remains one of the biggest strategic voices in the house.
The pair became closely connected after Devens revealed his Diamond Power of Veto and made the huge move against Kamu during Week 6. That move helped create the current power structure, but it also increased the pressure on Dee and Devens to continue making aggressive moves.
The question now is whether Dee will follow through with a straightforward Yash eviction plan or whether Devens will encourage another unexpected move.
Could The Mosh Pit Alliance Crack?
The Week 7 HOH also comes at a critical time for the Mosh Pit alliance.
The group — featuring Dee, Devens, Angela, Barrett, Drew, Melody, and Mallory — appeared to have control after the Week 6 blindside, but cracks have started forming. Melody and Mallory have reportedly become frustrated with their position in the alliance and whether they are truly being treated as equal players.
If Dee continues targeting players outside the alliance, she may maintain control. However, if she makes a move that benefits only the veterans, some of the newer players could begin looking for another path.
Week 7 Could Decide The Direction Of The Season
A Yash eviction would give Dee and Devens another major victory and further strengthen their control over the game. However, taking out a strong competitor also creates a bigger target on their backs.
With the house already divided and alliances shifting, Dee’s HOH could become one of the most important weeks of Big Brother 28 so far.
Current Week 7 outlook: Dee HOH → Yash likely target → nominations designed to keep Dee and Devens in control.
