Kamu Kirk’s Big Brother 28 journey has come to an end. The MMA fighter was evicted during the Week 6 live eviction, becoming the sixth houseguest sent home this season after a dramatic week that completely changed the direction of the game.
Kamu entered the eviction episode on the block alongside Angela Murray and Haley Thogmartin after Rick Devens used his Diamond Power of Veto to save Dee Valladares and personally name Kamu as the replacement nominee. The unexpected move turned what appeared to be a straightforward week into one of the biggest power shifts of the season.
Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto Changes Everything
The week began with Yash Patel holding the Head of Household power and winning the Power of Veto. However, instead of using the veto, Yash kept his nominations unchanged. That opened the door for Devens to make one of the boldest moves of the season by activating his Diamond Power of Veto.
VOTE: Big Brother 28 Fan Favorite Poll: Who Is Your Favorite Houseguest?
By removing Dee from danger and placing Kamu on the block, Devens exposed Kamu as the bigger threat in the house. Once Kamu failed to secure safety in the Block Buster competition, his chances of surviving the week quickly disappeared.
Angela Wins Safety, Kamu Becomes the Target
Angela Murray won the Block Buster competition, earning her safety and leaving Kamu and Haley as the remaining nominees. With Kamu still sitting on the block, the house decided that removing him was the best move for their individual games.
The vote was nearly unanimous, with Kamu being evicted from the Big Brother house. His departure marked the end of a strong but controversial run, as he had built connections across different groups and was viewed as one of the season’s biggest competition threats.

A Powerful Player Falls Before Jury
Kamu’s eviction was a major turning point because he had positioned himself as one of the most influential players in the game. His ability to build relationships and remain connected to multiple sides of the house made him dangerous, but those same connections also made other players nervous about his long-term potential.
Earlier in the season, Kamu had made a major strategic shift by moving away from some of his original allies, including Chuk Anyanwu and Haley Thogmartin. While the move helped him survive one stage of the game, it also created tension and damaged some relationships inside the house.
What Kamu’s Eviction Means for Big Brother 28
With Kamu gone, the remaining houseguests now have a much more open path toward the endgame. A major physical threat has been removed, and players who were previously hiding behind bigger competitors now have an opportunity to take control.
Rick Devens’ Diamond Power of Veto move will likely be remembered as one of the defining moments of Big Brother 28 so far. By saving Dee and targeting Kamu, Devens changed the balance of power and proved that no player is safe when secret advantages are still in play.
Kamu Kirk leaves the game as one of the season’s most talked-about players — a houseguest who showed strong strategic instincts, built a large network, and became a major target because of how dangerous he appeared to his fellow competitors.
