Kamu has won the Week 5 Power of Veto on Big Brother 28, giving him complete control over whether the nominations remain the same or whether Head of Household LaTrice will be forced to name a replacement nominee.
The current nominees are Haley, Chuk and Barrett, and naturally, both Haley and Chuk have reasons to hope Kamu might use the Veto on one of them. However, the latest indications from inside the house suggest that Kamu is currently leaning toward not using the Veto at all.
That would leave LaTrice’s nominations unchanged and keep Haley, Chuk and Barrett on the block heading into the next eviction.

Kamu’s decision is particularly interesting because of his previous connections with some of the nominees. Chuk has reportedly been trying to convince him to use the Veto, but so far Kamu does not appear eager to make a move that could upset the current balance of power in the house.

Instead, keeping the Veto unused may be the safest move for Kamu’s own game. He already has immunity for the week after winning the competition, and by leaving the nominations alone, he avoids publicly choosing between former allies and the people currently holding power.
The situation also comes after a turbulent few days for Kamu. Before nominations, his name had been discussed as a possible nominee, but the plans eventually shifted and Chuk ended up on the block instead. Now Kamu finds himself in a much stronger position, holding the most important power of the week outside of the HOH.
If Kamu keeps the Veto in his pocket, Haley, Chuk and Barrett will remain the final nominees, meaning the focus will immediately shift toward Thursday’s vote and which houseguest is most at risk of eviction.
Of course, Big Brother plans can change quickly, especially in the hours before a Veto meeting. Conversations and last-minute campaigning could still influence Kamu’s decision.
For now, though, all signs point toward Kamu choosing not to use the Week 5 Power of Veto.
