Big Brother 28 Week 5 Veto Players Revealed — What Could Happen?

Power of Veto day has arrived in the Big Brother 28 house, and Week 5 could get very interesting depending on who walks away with the necklace.

LaTrice is the current Head of Household, and her nominations are Haley, Chuk, and Barrett. However, that was not her original plan. Earlier in the week, LaTrice had been considering putting Barrett, Drew, and Kamu on the block before conversations with Taylor, Kamu, and Yash pushed her in a different direction.

The biggest concern became Chuk. LaTrice was eventually convinced that he needed to touch the block, but there was one problem: Haley could potentially be selected for the Veto, win it, and save him.

To remove that possibility, LaTrice decided to nominate both Haley and Chuk, forcing either of them to prioritize saving themselves if they won the Power of Veto.

Now the Veto players have officially been selected, and the draw creates several interesting possibilities.

Week 5 Power of Veto Players

The six houseguests competing are:
  • LaTrice — Head of Household
  • Haley — Nominee
  • Chuk — Nominee
  • Barrett — Nominee
  • Kamu
  • Dee

Kamu’s participation could be particularly important. His relationship and trust with Chuk and Haley appear shaky at the moment, which means he may have little incentive to use the Veto if he wins. Keeping the nominations the same could be the safest move for his game.

Dee, however, could create a much more complicated situation. If she wins, she would likely consider taking Barrett off the block. That would force LaTrice to name a replacement nominee, and Drew appears to be one of the strongest possibilities.

That scenario could actually work with LaTrice’s larger strategy. She wants someone sitting beside Haley and Chuk who has a realistic chance of winning the Blockbuster competition. Putting Drew into the mix could give her exactly that.

Haley and Chuk have also been discussing their own Veto strategy on the feeds, although whether their plan actually helps them remains another question entirely.

With all three nominees competing and two potentially influential extra players in Kamu and Dee, this week’s Power of Veto could completely reshape LaTrice’s nominations — or leave her plan exactly as it is.

Who do you think needs to win the Week 5 Power of Veto, and should the necklace be used if Kamu or Dee takes it?
