The BB Time Capsule is back for another week, and Big Brother 28 fans once again have the chance to decide which houseguest will compete for a valuable power—or risk walking away with an embarrassing punishment.
Round 3 voting is now officially open, with 13 houseguests still eligible after two weeks of twists that have already delivered one punishment and one game-changing advantage.
Fans can cast their votes on CBS’s official Big Brother website before voting closes on Friday at 9:00 AM PT (12:00 PM ET). The winning houseguest will be called to the Diary Room later that day to compete in the BB Time Capsule challenge.
Two Weeks, Two Very Different Outcomes
The BB Time Capsule has already had a major impact on the season.
In Week 1, America voted for Angela, but her challenge ended in disappointment when she received the hilarious Egg Detective punishment instead of a power.
Week 2 produced a much bigger result. Rick Devens won the fan vote and successfully claimed the coveted Diamond Power of Veto, one of the strongest advantages in Big Brother history. The power allows him to remove a nominee from the block and personally name the replacement, giving him enormous influence over the eviction week.
For now, only Dee knows about Devens’ advantage, as the pair have agreed to keep it secret from the rest of the house.
Five Powers and Five Punishments Remain
With Angela and Devens already having their turn—and Rome and the first two evictees no longer eligible—13 houseguests remain in the running.
There are still five powers and five punishments left to be awarded over the coming weeks, meaning every winner enters the challenge with everything to gain—and plenty to lose.
Devens also revealed a small tip after winning his challenge, telling Dee that players can take their time watching the light sequence before making their selection, potentially improving their chances of walking away with a reward instead of a punishment.

The biggest question now is which houseguest will earn America’s votes this week.
Last week’s fan polling saw Rome finish first and Devens second, but both are no longer eligible. That leaves several contenders to watch, including Dee and Lyric, who were among the strongest vote-getters behind them.
Jason could also receive increased support after once again finding himself on the outside of the house’s power structure. However, the returning veterans continue to hold a significant advantage thanks to their established fan bases, making it difficult for the newer players to break through.
Jason warned early in the season that the veterans would dominate fan voting—and through two rounds, that prediction has certainly proven accurate.
