As Big Brother 28 continues inside the house, the conversation outside the game has shifted to former houseguests after recent social media posts from Ashley Hollis reignited debate among fans.
The latest discussion began when Hollis shared a clip featuring returning houseguest Angela Murray. In the clip, Angela suggested that Rubina may have remained in the game over Cedric partly because some houseguests wanted Filipino representation in the house. The comment quickly spread among fans, with many debating whether it reflected what actually happened or unfairly attributed motives to the players.

The clip sparked strong reactions across X and fan communities. Some viewers argued Hollis was simply highlighting an interesting live-feed moment, while others accused her of fueling unnecessary controversy. Critics described her online commentary as divisive, while supporters defended her right to discuss the game and the feeds.
The conversation didn’t stop there.
Just hours later, Hollis posted a selfie with her former Big Brother 27 rival Morgan Pope, seemingly pushing back against online claims that the two still disliked each other. The photo was interpreted by some fans as proof that any feud between them had ended.
“Ashley hates Morgan” meanwhile a few weeks ago which I never posted…. Stop trying to pit us against each other. She played a great game, I played a great game, Vince played a great game. Everyone has their opinions on who is better/worse and that has nothing to do with me! pic.twitter.com/Q1LoTxHKDW

However, Morgan later clarified that the picture should not be viewed as evidence of a close friendship. According to her posts, the selfie captured a polite, cordial interaction rather than a sign that the two had become close after the show. The clarification led to another round of social media exchanges, including references to private text messages and differing perspectives on how fans were interpreting the situation.
Morgan… you came at me for no reason 😂 re read the tweet it simply says I don’t hate you. I’m trying to get the fans to stop putting us against each other, and here you go causing chaos! What was the point? I don’t follow you on any platform nobody thinks we are besties😂

The back-and-forth only added fuel to ongoing fan discussions. Some believe Hollis accurately reports live-feed events and has been unfairly criticized for sharing her opinions. Others argue that her posts often amplify speculation and create drama that extends well beyond the game itself.
While Ashley Hollis and Morgan Pope continue to trend among Big Brother fans online, the current Big Brother 28 houseguests remain focused on the competition inside the house, even as alumni discussions continue to dominate parts of the fandom outside it.
