Big Brother: Unlocked is getting a fresh look ahead of the highly anticipated Big Brother 28 season, with CBS announcing a major hosting change and a brand-new game twist that could give fans more influence than ever before.
Returning to the companion series are former Big Brother winners Taylor Hale and Derrick Levasseur, who will once again break down the latest gameplay, strategy, and drama from inside the house. Joining them this season is actor and longtime Big Brother superfan Jerry O’Connell, expanding the hosting panel from two to three personalities.

O’Connell is no stranger to the franchise. In 2024, he stepped in as a guest host when Julie Chen Moonves was unable to host a live eviction episode, earning praise from fans for his enthusiasm and knowledge of the game. Now, he’ll become a permanent part of Big Brother: Unlocked, offering a fan’s perspective while discussing the season alongside Hale and Levasseur.

CBS has also revealed that Big Brother: Unlocked will feature a live studio audience for its second season, creating a more energetic atmosphere and bringing viewers closer to the action than ever before.

Although fans have seen America’s Vote influence certain twists in the past, CBS is teasing something much bigger this time.
