Former Big Brother Star Frankie Grande Ready for a Comeback

More than a decade after first stepping into the Big Brother house, former houseguest and entertainer Frankie Grande says he’s ready to return to the game that helped make him a reality TV star.

Frankie, who competed on Season 16 in 2014, recently revealed that he would eagerly accept an invitation to participate in a future All-Stars edition of Big Brother. According to Grande, there has been a long-standing misconception that he had no interest in playing again, but he made it clear that he would welcome the opportunity if producers reached out.

During his original season, Frankie became one of the most memorable players in Big Brother history. He won multiple Head of Household competitions, delivered one of the show’s most talked-about strategic performances, and famously revealed that he was related to global pop superstar Ariana Grande.

However, his journey ended in dramatic fashion. After appearing to secure his safety by winning key competitions, a game-changing twist reset the week, wiping away his victories and ultimately leading to his eviction. The shocking turn of events remains one of the most memorable twists in the show’s history.

Although he never returned for a traditional season of Big Brother, Frankie remained connected to the franchise. He later competed on the U.K. version of Celebrity Big Brother and returned to the American franchise in 2023 for the holiday-themed competition series Reindeer Games.

Grande believes he came close to winning Reindeer Games but revealed that viewers didn’t see the health challenges he was facing behind the scenes. He said he battled a severe bronchial infection during filming, which affected his ability to compete at full strength as the season progressed.

Beyond competing, Frankie has continued making appearances throughout the Big Brother universe, taking part in various themed segments, twists, and finale events over the years. His continued involvement demonstrates the strong relationship he maintains with the franchise.

Now starring in the Broadway parody musical Titanique, Frankie says his love for Big Brother has never faded. With producers now aware of his interest in returning, he hopes a future All-Stars season could finally provide another shot at the game.

Whether that opportunity arrives remains to be seen, but one thing is certain: Frankie Grande is no longer ruling out a return to the Big Brother house.
